VILLA OCEAN PALM, HEATED Pool!

Annie was awesome, so helpful, polite, and friendly. We arrived and was welcomed with a bottle of fizz and some snacks which was.completely unexpected and so kind. We had some issues with our taxi transfers but Annie was on hand to help us with this situation. The villa was spacious, there was 9 of us in total. It was spotlessy clean and well equipped, a small shop just round the corner where we managed to get essentials. We arrived in the evening and Annoe gave us some tips on where to eat local to the villa. The pool was clean and perfect for what we needed, plenty of sunbeds and bbq cooking facilities outside. Everyone was so in love the villa we were sad to come home.

The villa is situated a little way from the bustle, whilst we appreciated this, it was a good 30 minute walk to the sea front and you had to cross 2 dual carriage ways. Whilst this wasn't ideal it wasn't a reflection on the villa and it was our choice to walk as taxis could be found if you really wanted.

The villa exceeded our expectations and the hosts were great at communicating with us, the villa was very clean and comfortable and the pool was a fantastic temperature

The online check in process a few days before was a bit of a pian having to enter everyone's details individually and also the alarm system but I understand why this needs to be done

We were a group of six adults and one baby, staying in what was described as a premium villa. As our stay progressed, we uncovered numerous problems that were both structural and functional. Throughout our stay, we were in regular contact with the propery's representative (very kind woman who was willing to help) from Sun Property, who admitted that the villa was dated and in need of maintenance. Pool and outdoor area: Only three lounge chairs available for six adults; one was broken; Pool level was below the skimmer upon arrival, and circulation remained inadequate even after attempts to fill it; The pool leaked and required refilling multiple times during our stay; Lounge set cushions were worn, dirty, and uncomfortable; other chairs lacked cushions entirely, rendering them unusable; Patio was visibly dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned in some time. Sewage and plumbing issues: Sewage backed up into the basement shower and near the pool, causing an unbearable smell; A maintenance team attempted to fix the issue but advised us not to use the basement toilet, shower, or washing facilities due to a broken sewer system. This forced three of our group members, including a baby, to relocate to the laundry room, which was unacceptable; Partial clogging of the washbasin in the master bedroom. Amenities and appliances: Appliances were outdated and barely functional (e.g., bread toaster replaced during our stay, coffee machine clogged); Pool lighting, as advertised, was not operational; Ping-pong set was in poor condition. WiFi and general condition: WiFi only worked in one out of five bedrooms and not in the pool area, despite numerous attempts to resolve this; The property overall was dated, rundown, and in dire need of refurbishment; Fly infestations were likely caused by sewage problems and there were cockroaches; Electricity and lighting issues: Electricity failed twice during our stay; Terrace lights stopped working entirely.

Despite paying extra for early check-in, the property owner appeared groomy and kept on complaining when she came to give us the property keys. There were no lights in the children's bedroom throughout our stay, no entertainment as TVs were non functional throughout our stay, the pool was never checked or cleaned throughout the stay. WiFi was not stable, and at times, we had no lights on the whole house. Despite highlighting these concerns to the owner, nothing was done. We paid a lot of money for this property, and our experience was not what we expected. The owner advised me that she would compensate me, but until now, I have not received anything from her and I have not heard anything from her either.
