Robin Hill Cottage

The host was very friendly and helpful. Robin cottage has everything you need and is lovely and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Lovely relaxing stay here, no noise, comfortable bed, powerful shower and well equipped kitchen with a big fridge and separate freezer. Hostess was very welcoming and showed me how to adjust the heating etc. which helped me settle in. Looked walkable to Stonehenge based on a quick drive by but the weather wasn't encouraging while I was there.

Would have been nice to not be here on business and actually be able to see the area!

Peaceful location, roomy accommodation, fresh bread, milk and orange juice etc provided. Comfortable beds. Responsive host. Convenient for Amesbury - we were visiting for a family event.

The detour to get to the accommodation - not in the hosts control, of course (due to Christmas lights switch on in Amesbury). And no problem getting into Amesbury the following morning. The accommodation was cold when we arrived and as it had been a cold spell of weather we'd have expected it would have been warmed up (at least to some extent) before our arrival.

Lovely rooms, cleverly set up extra beds I. The living room. Modern bathroom and kitchen. We literally just slept over and left again.

Our hosts Julia and Andy were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their area and shared recommendations for best places to go and things to do. Their location in Amesbury is very good indeed. Amesbury village is only approx a 10 minute walk up the road which is worth a little visit as here is full of history and its within an easy travelling distance from Stonehenge (approx 10/15mins) and Salisbury town (approx 20mins). We also visited Longleat Safari which was approx 30 mins travelling also before heading back North. Accommodation itself catered for everything we needed as a family with ample space and privacy. Our hosts were very caring and offered a number of their home garden facilities and games which were all available to us. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore and venture.
