We’ve been to a lot of lodges in different parts of the country and have got to say that this is the best it was immaculate and the decor was beautiful the bed was really comfortable and the bathrooms amazing the loft room was lovely as well. The location was great .

Only 2 small complaints the oven wasn’t the best we couldn’t get the grill to work and the oven had to be watched because it went off a couple of times the shower in the main bedroom en suite was too hot

"A magical experience and we will definitely be back."

It was stunning. We had the most magical time. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms beautiful. The bar was amazing. The views were to die for.

The oven and grill didn’t work too well. We couldn’t get the grill on any other setting but low. The oven only cooked on max setting and randomly went off 3 times whilst we tried to cook our Turkey. Everything took quite a bit longer than it should but all worked out in the end.

Beautifully decorated and laid out. We were a group of 6 staying for a Christmassy break -there was a lovely Christmas tree up and we had the best few days! We even extended our stay by 1 night because we loved it so much.

"Outstanding barn in great location."

I loved the style of the barn and how much effort has gone into every little detail. The location is great. A lovely village with a short drive into bowness-on-Windermere. It was one of the most well looked after property I’ve stayed in and hats off to the cleaners. Everything about the stay was outstanding and I would book again in a heartbeat. The communication with the owner was fantastic aswell.
