Amazing house. Very cosy, clean and peaceful. Great spot for holiday.

Fue perfecto

The garden is lovely (we saw white rabbits during the day & the Northern Lights one night!) The sauna is fantastic at the end of each day. Location just a short walk from ski slopes & not too far to walk home from city centre. So much nicer than staying in a resort or in the city centre. Although we never met the host she was very helpful in booking a taxi from the airport for us & responded quickly to queries. She was generous too in not expecting us to do a DEEP clean before leaving (as some Air b&b do!!) Of course we tidied up but removing this pressure was helpful at check out time. We really enjoyed staying here, would happily return and recommend it wholeheartedly.

At first we couldn't find nearby restaurants nor shops but got our bearings after the first day. Thankfully the host had kindly left ingredients for breakfast so were fuelled to find the supermarket is just over the bridge - about a 15 minute walk. And the public bus goes from there to Santa Claus Village. Check times online as buses seem to only run once per hour per route. Taxis were very reliable.

tarja's house is in a great location to reach both Rovaniemi, Santa Clause village and the airport. the house is very clean, tidy, warm, the view is incredibly beautiful. Tarja had thought of everything down to the smallest detail. She had put lots of nice food in the fridge for us with a very sweet note. On the last night we saw the northern lights in the backyard. Everything was great. Thank you Tarja

The host, Tarja, is extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment has everything you need. It is an amazing stay. Highly recommended.

The location, the set up, the facilities, the ease of communication and all the help from the owner The house and the garden are beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and welcoming. We had some food prepared for us and a welcome gift 🥰 which were highly appreciated The bedrooms are large and well organised. It was warm The sauna was great We loved our stay!

This place is amazing, truly a home from home. Tarja was so helpful and it had everything we needed. It is very spacious, clean, cosy, warm, relaxing and the views out of the back windows were so beautiful. I could live here!

Everything was just perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue River. It was home away from home and Tarja made us feel so welcome. We dropped our bags early and on arrival we found a shelf full of goodies in the fridge and a tray on the table. From eggs, juice, milk, bread, cheese, fresh fruit and chocolates it was delightful and much appreciated. The home is so well looked after and everything was clean and fresh and we were so comfortable. Tarja has lots of information that she shares about local services and information about the home and appliances. To top it off the location of the home is just perfect for Rovaniemi, Santa Claus’ village etc. It really was the most amazing place to stay. Thank you Tarja x

cozy, comfy, warm house with sauna and good view of the river. we had a wonderful stay here. host was so kind to stock some items which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. highly recommend to stay there!!!
