Villa Calista by Villalia

Lovely little villa. Clean, comfortable and a bathroom each for the two of us. Loads of outside space front and back with comfy outdoor furniture.

The winder handle for the pool cover was broken which made it difficult to retract the cover but we managed. We did wonder why there was no hose pipe attached to the outside tap. Just would have liked to have hosed our mucky and oily footprints off the patio each day and to cool the tiles down a bit; they get blimmin warm! Just felt we were leaving a mess behind us after a few days of use. I do understand that water is probably a precious commodity here though.

The villa is on a nice complex and we met some locals who we found very hospitable and friendly. The villa was a little out of the way, however on a bus route for faro park and centre of playa Blanca. There is a small supermarket cross the road from the complex, few minutes walk to get essentials. There is plenty of space for a couple. internally decor to a high standard and comfortable . Air conditioning in main lounge area and to master bedroom. Externally good views, nice heated pool, not too deep.. comfortable seating both front and rear of villa, the property has beautiful sunrises. we had a few issues with the Wi-Fi set up, and external lighting not working, prompt action was taken to address this. The hosts Stephanie and Aridane communication was very good prior and during our short stay.

It would have been nice to have a welcome pack,as we arrived late at night. Removable covers would be a nice addition as to not mark to suede sofa..

Was nice and quiet.
