"Hardy House is homely but has the extra wow factor - it's amazing!"

I rented this property as my son was getting married at a venue 5 minutes walk away. The property is steeped in history and has all the architectural features that you would expect including ceiling roses, ornate cornices, original doors, huge original roll top bath, old school toilet cisterns and fireplaces. Beautifully decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard. The chandeliers are amazing! Kitchen well equipped and a walled courtyard garden was a joy!

The property was on 4 floors and the bedroom with the bathroom was on the 3rd floor. However, I knew that stairs would be involved, but there was a toilet on the ground floor which was a relief!

Amazing property, with all the comforts. Really nicely decorated, with comfortable furniture . Fantastic host who met us on arrival and explained everything . Really enjoyed staying here. You can park your car and walk to all the major sites, and restaurants, supermarket ect Ferry port 5 mins drive to IOW

Tv on the top level. This property would not be suitable for people with mobility issues as it has 50 steps over 4 levels.

Hardy House is the most amazing property in the heart of Old Portsmouth. It had everything and more to make our family break a comfortable one. Communication was great and Steve met us at the property.
