"Great property shame about parking when disabled."

8.0

The house is a great size and very clean and mostly quite.

The designated parking area either had work vans belonging to the villa next door or three plus cars belonging to the villa next door when rented to a house party if 14 plus

"Excellent cottage near river and pubs"

9.0

Cottage was very clean, well equipped, modern, quiet location, near river and pubs. Didn’t use hot tub as cost extra. Good parking and EV charger.

All the add on costs for extra things.

"Great location, but poorly managed."

3.0

Location

The whole ‘on-boarding’ process was tedious and impersonal. The allocated parking spot wasn’t available when we arrived. We had no hot water on the last evening or last morning. Like a cheap airline, anything considered to be ‘extra’ attracted an additional charge, although we were not offered any discount for the failure of the boiler. The configuration of the rooms is strange. A downstairs toilet & shower would have been useful & could be put in the kitchen and the kitchen moved to the dining room. The hot tub, which attracted an additional fee, was in a very strange and exposed position on the side of the house.

"Very dissapointed 😞"

The area

We was very dissapointed with the house as the furniture was stained very uncomfortable, lounge small & dingy, beds not very comfortable either . I had better furniture when I was a young girl with hand me downs to get me started in my first place. It was a hot day there was no garden furniture we could see, so we emailed to ask if there was any we could get from anywhere & the reply was that we could take the furniture out of the conservatory which was wooden & use that & make sure we put it back. When I booked i saw no mention of an additional charge for the hot tub & even though we didn't want to use it it wasn't made clear very misleading. we felt that the registration was very intense asking for my passport or driving licence for a weekend let. Also £50 if we wanted to use the hot tub, £50 for the dog, extra if we wanted early check in extra for early check out. Then the cheek of a section to tip the staff. We never saw a soul . We only stayed the Friday night that was more than enough. Not even 4 matching wine glasses.the ironing board cover too small for the board If you want a blast from the past with mis matched furniture & very basic but with a high price tag this is the place for you. But it's a definate no from us . They ask for £30 non refundable deposit or £300 that can take up to 7 days to return. The door lock although very modern & probably the most expensive item in the house was quite temperamental.
