Villa Socrates

Stunning location and wonderfully equipped. Infinity pool with wonderful views stretching to the ocean. Generous space with great barbecue area. Dialogue with owner and her son was terrific and they kindly allowed full flexibility on check out timings.

The Villa is so well designed to take advantage of its stunning location with views you could never tire of, and the pool is fantastic. If you want peace and quiet but with easy access to great restaurants and beaches it ticks all the boxes. Everything you could possibly need is available. Without question one of the very best Villas we have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

Beautiful villa, the best we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot!

Lovely host! Had stocked fridge with loads of staples & fresh stuff to welcome us!!! Kitchen well equipped for proper cooking too (sharp knives, oil & vinegar etc). Location, pool & view was brilliant. Host also so easy to deal with & perfect communication (met us to give us keys & quickly show us a few useful things but then left us to it). Perfect!

This was out third trip to this Villa. We previously visited in 2013 and 2017 when it was called the Romanza. It is now called Villa Socrates and is owned and run by a local couple and their son. Since they took it over in 2020 they have made many improvements and all I can now say is "Wow". The Villa and the gardens are beautifully presented and upon arrival we were greeted by a very well stocked fridge and shown the vegetable garden which we were allowed to help ourselves too. Stunning views and plenty of outdoor space all add to the experience of staying in a lovely Villa in a fantastic location. Additionally Katelios and Skala are only a very short drive away and offer a good choice of Restaurants. There is also a lovely Restaurant in Ratzakli called Avli which is only a few minutes away. The owners could not do enough to make sure we had a lovely holiday and we look forward to returning. Thank you

Nothing - Villa met our needs in every way.

Excellent peaceful location, the villa was lovely and equipped with everything we needed. Beds and outdoor furniture all really comfy and we loved the gorgeous views. David was an excellent host who made us feel very welcome and had also stocked the fridge for us which was a real bonus. Absolutely loved our holiday here, Skala and Katelios within an easy drive with some super bars and restaurants.

Stunning gardens and views from the villa. A friendly welcome from David’s mum which included a tour of the vegetable garden! We were blown away by the fully stocked fridge full of fresh food so we didn’t need to buy very much at the supermarket at all during our stay. A great villa and we would not hesitate to book again.
