Pondok Mekar Villas

Pool area was nice, wifi good. Location not too far from Tengallangan. A car transport away from Ubud C.

Area with a lot of traffick and this villa was closest to the road. Some shops and restaurants close by but limited. Would recommend visit to central Ubud and things to do around Ubud.

1. First up, the property turned out to be an excellent choice for our family vacation 2. We booked Villa Rose that had 2 bedrooms with queen beds in each room 3. The property had a huge living room with a full kitchen that had a fridge and a conventional oven 4. Plenty of seating area in the living room and the corridor 5. Wooden dining table in the corridor can easily accommodate 6-8 people 6. The location is excellent with dozens of restaurants within walkable distance. We dined at Akusara, The Grill, Draniki, Bella Pizza and Tootsie and the price was surprisingly cheap. 7. The onsite restaurant Akusara had good food and can have food delivered to your room 8. There are a couple of spas within 3-4 mins of walking distance from the property 9. Plenty of options next door to rent bikes and motor bikes 10. 5 ft deep swimming pool with stunning view surrounded by banana and coconut trees 11. Circle K right opposite to the property to buy water, snacks etc. 12. Vinyard which is about 3 mins walkable has excellent beers, wines and alcohol

There was no breakfast included with the stay. As expected, surrounded by trees, lots of ants and mosquitoes.

It was beautiful yet still traditional Balinese style. We were blown away when we walked in and saw the villa. The staff were super helpful and friendly and they even gave us a ride to the fire dance event we had booked. Close to Ubud centre too.

The outdoor kitchen. The place was very dirty, needs a good clean! When ordering a breakfast that’s included with your stay wouldn’t give you butter as it’s ‘exspensive’ they said, very long wait!

The place is absolutely spotless and of a very very high standard. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always available next door for any query or support such as food or laundry. Place was perfect for my group of friends.

No complaints at all. Maybe signage on street could be more visible for taxi or delivery drivers...

Second time staying here, different villa but still comfortable and had a pleasant stay. Very nice and helpful staff, good meals, everything just PERFECT
