Magatama Villa by Mahaputra

Stunning sunrise with pure nature surrounding the villa. Things are so quiet that you can immerse yourself into the beauty of early morning when only you and birds and plants exist. Staff are so helpful, especially the young male staff who carried my heavy luggage.

It's super quiet at night. The location is a little far way from the center. It may be difficult to find the property in the first place.

A lack of care and attention. No towels for the pool loungers. Doors creaking with lack of oil.

The villa and the private pool have great views on the green landscape. Sebatu is a traditional town where people lead their lives as if nothing has changed for a long, long time. It's a great escape from the more touristy areas. The staff was very kind and helpful. Perfect for a romantic few days. Breakfasts are typical for Bali and are delivered everyday on the porch. Great (enclosed) bathroom with a big bathtub. There is a free water filter machine on the premises.

The path from the villa back to the main entrance is quite steep. It was not a problem for us, but it needs to be noted.

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, nice pool in a very quiet place.

Beautiful room and pool with excellent service from the staff

Just that it was too far from Central Ubud, but we got a bike so no issues with that

The pool and the villa are amazing. The decoration is great.

The staff is helpful but a little insistent. It is far from Ubud center (30min by motorbike). There are a lot of insect and lizard droppings inside the room.
