The doof doof noise coming from restaurant across the creek. Thankfully it did not go into the night.

From check in to check out our stay here was great. Any questions were answered straight away and they were always keen to help, such as organising cleaning to suit out plans each day. It was a walk to Ubud but we managed it each day, sometimes twice and when tired could easily get a taxi. There was a convenience store very close which was great for drinks and snacks.

We were greeted by our lovely villa manager Eka who looked after us very well, no requests were too hard. Eka and team cooked us a lovely breakfast and kept the villa lovely and clean. The infinity pool is amazing overlooking the jungle/valley and was enjoyed for many swims by our family of 6, 2 adults, 2 teens and a 4 and 7yr old. It was enjoyable watching the geckos, squirrels and bird life. There are a couple of restaurants and mini mart in easy walking distance to the Villa. Central ubud is a nice walk downhill too which our lil ones also managed otherwise you can get a gojek into town, but probably quicker to walk with the traffic. A great base for day activities too, cave tubing, atv, rafting, jungle swings and so much more. Was a wonderful stay at Villa Sunari.

Villa was extremely clean and staff were fantastic short walk to some lovely cafe/restaurants. Great gluten free food options at most places, some 100% coeliac friendly

Opposite Day club on the opposite side of the valley but they warned us and offered a refund before we went because of the music but we wanted to go but music stopped by 11pm and wasn’t a problem in my opinion .

The Balinese style, the space and the garden setting of this older style spacious property was excellent, the staff were lovely and did everything they could to accommodate any wishes

A very new pool bar/club has opened up and literally “blasts” music from between 1030/1100am right through to midnight! It’s so loud that you can’t enjoy the villa’s outdoor internal ( lounge/dining) areas at all. Things like reading, meditation, or just trying to soak up the beautiful surroundings are not possible. We tried to leave the villa by 1030 everyday just to escape. It is not “ l’espirit d’Ubud “ at all.

We stayed here the very start of our Bali trip- and wow! The house keeper was an incredible chef, providing us with some Balinese dishes aswell as arranging a spa massage service within the villa

Good location, within waking distance of Ubud centre. Lovely villa surrounded by forest. It was spacious for our family of 5. Gusti the house keeper was very attentive.

We did experience noise from the construction site and there was a school nearby who sang loudly early in the morning! We didn’t mind but if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet stay, you may be disappointed.

Really nice place. My biggest recommendation. Nice pool, nice rooms and toilets. Great staff.

Only the construction work just beside. But our host was very nice to give us a refund for one day. We really appreciate that service.
