Very friendly host texted me when room was ready early. Appreciated that.

Toilet was old and musky smelling.

The property was modern and clean. Also the contact person at the location, Jensen, was very welcoming and kind.

The property is spacious and very private. It is located conveniently near the east side beaches and shops and restaurants. Jensen and his colleague are great hosts and made us feel very welcome and support with any needs. Everything was clean and in great condition. The best place to stay when visiting Gili Air!

Everything was great, and there were no issues. Except for the curtains on the windows at the top, everything was well thought out and enjoyable. The room lights up with the sunrise in the morning, and there's no way to block it out. Employees are awesome 😄 I can’t remember all of their names all of them so kind, helpful and sooooo much friendly. We had a great stay in the Salt Villas. From the moment we arrived the hosts were so lovely and really helpful, giving us lots of tips and answering any questions. The private pool was super nice to have as it was so warm outside we'd be hot after having just come back from a swim at the beach so great to be able to cool off at home. Lots of reviews mentioned the light and the call to prayer being an issue but as a light sleeper I can genuinely say neither of those things even registered as an issue to me.

The air con was a bit fiddly and positioned so the air blew directly onto your face in bed. Truly a first world problem but if there was one thing we could've changed it would be that.

The host Ki was wonderful, welcoming and very helpful with booking boats back to Bali and any other questions we had. 1 min bicycle ride to the beach side with heaps of restaurants to choose from. Villa is equipped with everything you need

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at, I absolutely LOVED it and extended my stay while I was there. The staff were the kindest, smiliest, most animal-loving people - I think the main guy is called Rizky (so sorry if I'm remembered this wrong) and he is an asset to the owners of Salt Villas, they are very lucky to have him. He takes great care and interest in the flowers and the cats - I was missing my own cats, so I spent time with Rizky's adorable furbabies and they melted my heart! They are treated like royalty by Rizky, it's so great to see. The villa is STUNNING, with a kitchenette, a private pool, and beautiful decoration - I couldn't believe the value for money! As far as I'm concerned, this place is without a doubt 5*. The location is also perfect. After the madness of Bali, being on tranquil Gili Air island and staying at Salt Villas was utter paradise.

I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. Other reviewers have mentioned the loud call-to-prayers from the nearby mosque waking them up in the middle of the night (true, I agree, but only something to be aware of and nothing that Salt Villas can do about it). And the lack of curtains means that you might be woken up by the sun very early (also true, and perhaps something that could be addressed, but this place still gets top marks from me).

It’s a very well kept property, off main roads which it makes a quiet spot to relax and enjoy. The staff looking after is pretty incredible, always ready to help and very kind and happy. Very good vibes all around, so much that I did extend my stay.
