Villa Sitara, Sitara Villa Group

The Villa was great - three bedrooms, with their own bathrooms, a common area and then the pool and gardens. The pool was fab, the gardens too. The beds were awesome. We really loved the villa itself. Soleli - our contact - was so lovely. When we had concerns, he was a WhatsApp away. The gardens and villa were kept clean daily. We had the water go out a couple of times due to the very heavy rain, but Soleli was able to get it fixed quickly. The villa was perfect for our family of 6. (4 adults and 2 children - the children both shared bedrooms with their parent)

The location isn't the greatest, you do feel a little far away from things. Whilst I'd say that it's centralish (cab rides to fab restaurants), and it's not too far to everything, but we couldn't really just walk out of the driveway and walk into a cafe easily. In saying that, the villa itself outweighed this. We did find that the locks were a little tricky and there was only two keys for three rooms, but we were able to manage this. The open aired bathrooms are lovely but take a bit of getting used to.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at Sitara Villas! The location is perfect, a secret hideaway tucked behind a beautiful Balinese temple, but immediate access to shops, restaurants and a quick trip to the beach. The design is a clever mix of traditional and modern - the best of both worlds, with beautiful private gardens. Much time spent enjoying cocktails in the pool! The best bit though was Fenny and Soleil - what an amazing housekeeping team - nothing was too much trouble, the warmest most genuine smiles and laughs all round, and Fenny breakfasts are to die for! I'm going to miss you guys! But already planning the next visit ;)
