Villa Balinese Luxurious Elegance

Villa Balinese is a large property, and all rooms are nicely decorated, with plenty of room for 6 adults and a toddler. This is a very comfortable villa in which to stay. It is away from the very busy streets of Ubud, in an ideal location to watch the sun setting over the rice fields, all whilst enjoying a late afternoon swim. The owner provided detailed information and responded promptly to our questions. The villa staff are friendly, and Komang, the villa host, is an excellent cook. We ate breakfast there each day; her Mie Goreng is delicious. We hired a scooter from the villa, and it was also easy to use the Grab or Gojek apps for transport and food delivery options. We would highly recommend this villa.

Unfortunately, the fridge was not working for a period of time. However, Komang made a great effort for it to be fixed, and in the meantime, we had to use another fridge in the storeroom. For those with allergies, there is a house cat.

We very much liked the Villa Balinese and felt privileged to have been able to stay there for four days, We almost felt like celebrities living in a Villa close to perfection for us. The architecture, interior design, the (art) decorations, the pool combined with the magnificent view on the rice fields. And then of course the hospitality provided by Komang and Wayan and the security services by Lily the cat 😉. All graciously designed and operated with care and attention. If coming back to Bali and available we will try to rent it again for sure.

Ubud traffic can be really busy by car but then when entering the Villa all is forgotten at once.

From the warm welcome of Komang meeting us at the villa till the early morning depature farewell by all , we felt incredibly cosseted. Komang and wayan( driver) made everything easy and whilst serving up wonderful meals , discussed with us daily activities that we might like. Wayan hosted us in his family complex to view religious celebration and share family meal. The village was great to walk around and talk to people- incredibly friendly.

All good- really nothing to complain about except weight gain with all beautiful food

everything. the views. the spaces. the well equipped kitchen. the ability for our driver to park his car. the farming. the furniture. it was great. the service. Komang attended to our every need including last minute requests. she would even offer to go supermarket for us to get us some items if we needed.

I didn’t dislike anything.
