Villa Océane - Tropical 2-bedroom with Pool

The water was hot cold intermittently

I'm not one to complain easily but the level of cleanliness was very disappointing. Surfaces were not wiped properly and there was animal poo on the floor in the bathroom and the living room area that wasn't cleaned in several days - actually I think the living room and kitchen area floor hadn't been washed properly in a VERY. long time. The pool wasn't too clean either. Also the service was a bit off, we waited 2 days for the stove to be fixed even after informing different people about it being broken. The villa itself is rustic yet quite nice, but it is good to know that it is VERY loud in the morning with lots of roosters around. It would also be nice to have something to try and reject some of the mosquitoes which were plenty. With a little more effort it could be a wonderful stay but now we were left a little disappointed and would not be coming back.

The private pool and outdoor living area was perfect for our family.

The pool area was lovely and the rooms were neat. It was a close was to shops and restaurants. The villa is located inside the L’archipel hotel and was secure. 10 min walk to a beach were you can snorkel and see turtles.

The villa was located in the middle of the island, close to the mosque where they play a call to prayer over loud speaker at 5am and at other times of the day. If this loud noise would bother you, it might be better to stay on the edge of the island rather than in the middle.
