Villa Océane - Tropical 2-bedroom with Pool

Easily the one of the nicest places we've stayed at when visiting the Gilli islands. While it isn't very obvious from the booking, the villa is actually part of a hotel, but you have your own private gate entrance and you're completely secluded from everything nearby. It was clean, wifi was decent and rooms were comfortable. Can't fault it.

We loved it from the beginning till the end, the staff were so friendly and professional. The private villa is fantastic with the pool coming into the living room so you can also have some shade. We loved the design of the place, I could not recommend it enough as it's quiet but also close to the beach and restaurants. It was the perfect cocoon for us to celebrate our anniversary. We will for sure come back.

We really loved the layout of the house and the pool. Open kitchen with a view towards the sofa and pool. Really liked the little beruga in the garden with nice pillows to chill in and play cards in the afternoon. Surely coming back next time

The villa has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and it is very spacious but it is old fashioned and it is not cosy. The yard is big and green, the pool is clean. We stayed two days in villa Oceane and then prefer to move in the bungalows in the resort - they are smaller and with one bedroom but I find them more cosy, pleasant and comfortable.

The bedrooms and the bathrooms in villa are old fashioned and they are not cosy. It definitely needs to be renewed. I don’t felt well during my stay. There is no breakfast included in the price - you have to pay if you want to take a breakfast in the resort.

The staff is very helpfull and friendly, a good team at all, the do their best you feel welcome and try to make your stay comfortable. We booked the private villa with private pool and two bedrooms. The layout of the villa is great, with the big couch in the middle and small kitchen in the back. You have a lot of space. The pool is nice as well. The location of the villa is also good, as quie in the center of Gili Air, everything is near by. Also just 100m around the corner you can rent a bicycle. The place is clean and staff is cleaning every day the place.

It seems the maintanance of the place is bad. A lot of lightbulbs in the villa are not working. There are two sun lounger per bedroom, all in very bad shape and actually useless and absolutely uncomfortable while sit on them. Shower area has no shelfs, so either you put your shampoo, showergel, etc. on the floor, or you run to the sink while showering. No bedside lamps in the rooms, only a very bright main lamp. Also no pictures on the wall or nice deco, you just see white walls. Chill out area beside the pool was handover without pillows and mattress, so not as on the pics. On last day we received small bean bags. In total the place is not lovely decorated. All this things could be fixed easily or it would be possible to pimp up the place to make it a great experience, if owner would pay attention to details. Pics not represent 100% the accomodation. Price performance ratio rather dissapointing, compared what you can get on the Gilis. Have been here 5-6 times, as I stay since 6 years in Indonasia as Expat.
