Stunning property and stunning location with pretty cool and interesting rooms. The owner Mr Morabito. A delightful man.

It’s a shame the owner is now elderly, the food is atrocious, truly Atrocious. After terrible Western food, we opted for the national dish “Nasi goreng” absolutely atrocious too. Truly embarrassing the chef cooks his national dish this bad, a complete let down. The service is a bit slow for such a high end cost of accommodation. I have no doubt this property would be a shining star had the owner been much younger. The dinning restaurant has stunning views and it’s got some really cool quirky Things to see. It’s Just extremely let down by having no one look over the food and the running of the place.

The ocean view is amazing, staff were great and very helpful. Special thanks to Komang, he was very nice and helpful.

The location and decor were amazing… staff so friendly . It was hot so would get a plunge pool next time.

No pool and lots of stairs

The customer service is exceptional. Komang and Redana were incredible on do whatever required to make a great stay. It was our best stay of the whole trip.

It is a very romantic place for our wedding anniversary. The rooftop restaurant is incredible. The Butler on WhatsAPP was an incredible idea in terms of customer experience.

The accommodation was very unique and interesting and in a great location. The staff were excellent and the open air rooftop restaurant and bar have an amazing atmosphere. Direct access to surf break

Location - right on the beach with direct access just a few flights down. Amazing views from the Venice room and from the restaraunt Staff - helpful butlers Komang and Redana Hot tub in room was a plus

Location - it was quite difficult getting to and from location in the heat as there were lots of steps and you have to walk down this very narrow alley way (often only fitting one person at a time). This deterred us from going outside sometimes because the walk from the hotel to a place where a grab/taxi could get you was a bit difficult in the heat. Note however - the butlers were kind to meet us at the pickup point to carry our bags down to and from the hotel at check in and check out. Room - the Venice room if you rent as a 1 bedroom villa is attached to where the hosts are staying via a none-lockable door. There’s no transparency about this I just discovered the door by chance and then the staff tried to play off that the door is indeed lockable when it wasn’t from our side just the hosts side who had full access to our side of the villa. We wouldn’t have minded this if there was some transparency but no one had mentioned it to us and then when we brought it up we felt a little tricked/lied to. Privacy - we were given a sheet of paper which included that staff will walk into our room at random times to make sure that nothing is left out on the balcony for monkeys. This was fine with us however they left the balcony door open letting in bugs which we found when we got back. This was also startling as we weren’t sure whether this was left by the staff or if thieves had come into our villa. Decor - yes we know the villa says it includes the personal artefacts of “pascal Morabito” however some of the things left in the room felt like used personal items that they were just too lazy to remove (e.g dirty bags, medications in one of the drawers) Price - overall not worth the 450/night
