EKO STAY - Woodside Ivy

We booked the property well in advance and got the confirmation from booking.com. It was my daughter’s birthday we were to celebrate in the stay and started from home. Half way thru we called the number which was in the website. A person named Siddesh spoke to us and told that the property is been given to someone and cannot accommodate us. After making him understand that we booked in advance still he was keen in suggesting some other property and urging us to pay immediately. Finally he switched off his mobile too. Since he was the only point of contact we dint had any other option than booking some other resort. That person ruined the whole plan and the worst ever customer service.

Heater not working

I got a booking confirmation on 15.01.2024 for 6 no of guests from 16.01.2024 to 17.01.2024. And they give one contact no 9820574630. But on 16.01.2024 from 9: 00 hrs, we try to contact him and he never pick up. We send mesages thro email and whatsapp, but no replies. Atlast 11:15 hrs he picked up call and told accomodation not available. We asked if it is confirmed by booking.com, how it is not avilable and why he didn't convey about this priorly. Without any hesitation, he replied that he will attend the call after 11: 00 hrs only. They didn't have the basic manners and ethics. They not all respect the customers. If accomodation not available, why it is showing in booking.com. He think that we are living behind his property. If cancelled means we simply going to home. We almost travelled 200 km for a trip plan with family, but this mannerless and heartless people, simply telling accomodation not available and even they didn't apologíse. And they suggesting another property. For this issue, booking.com also responsible. If we cancelled the stays at Last minute, they charged full amount. If these people cancelled means, no communication, no charges, no apologise etc., we spending so much money and time for travelling to this property and they simply telling no accomodation. Is it justice?. Booking.com also take reponsibility for this kind of issues. They are not worth for even negative reviews.

I liked the property and then booked using booking.com. When we drove around 250 Kms and arrived at ooty. We were really disappointed that there was no host for reception and we came to know the property has been given to some other party for stays. How come it will be possible when we have the confirmed booking in hand !!?

Location. In between a tea estate

The photos are deceiving. The place doesn't look like that at all. The maintenance is shabby. Place is extremely dirty. Towels and sheets had lots of stains. In the night we kept getting woken up with lots of weird noises and plates falling only to realise there is a big bandicoot in the kitchen

We felt that the stay could be unimaginable if we offered a gas stove.
