Villa Ida Villas

Fantastic property, beautiful pool, air conditioning worked very well. Location was incredible, basically no tourists and breathtaking views. Great food (breakfast provided as part of cost, option of lunch and dinner for additional very reasonable price). Staff able to source us scooters, snorkelling gear and a driver with no delay. Wayan, Ilo and Nyoman were so kind and welcoming, the place was spotless and very comfortable. We wanted somewhere out of the main strip of Amed and could not have been happier with the spot! If you want something near the town without having to travel though, this is probably a little far out. Very manageable with hiring a scooter or taxi though!

It is more remote than we anticipated but this was in fact lovely. You will need transport to get anywhere at all. We hired 2 scooters and even though the roads were atrocious, this did mean that there was little road traffic & everyone, including locals drove very slowly so it didn't feel so freaky on a bike.

Staff were great, guy hassling us for payment whilst eating our dinner wasn’t so great 😞

Ida Villa was amazing! The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The food prepared to order by the staff is fantastic and there are other options close by if you want to wander down the beach. The staff here will sort EVERYTHING for you, nothing is an issue. You will need transport, we hired scooters through the staff. I loved watching the fishermen come in each morning and unload their nets. This place is quiet, serene, beautiful. Yoy will need to pay your bill for the accommodation to the staff in cash. There is an ATM not too far, at the supermarket, where you can also get fresh bread, vegetables, and alcohol.

The location right on the beach (rocky) was beautiful. Watching the fishing boats leave and return, wonderful. The pool was excellent, the rooms very comfortable. We spent a lot of our time on the covered outdoor balcony reading our books and gazing out over the ocean. Snorkelling off the beach was good. We were in the 3 bedroom and it's classic older style but in good condition, roomy, lovely furniture, and gardens. Simple home cooked breakfast was included, and we also had lunch and 1 dinner there. All simple and OK. Blue Earth restaurant for sunset very good, don't go to Sunset Bar/restaurant unless you are after a beach club experience and like doof doof.

The road from Amed isn't good at all. It is quite a way from Amed so perhaps if you were staying quite a few days/week that might be annoying. 2/3 other restaurants very close but we didn't have time to try them.
