Villa Ida Villas

Beautiful property, had everything you needed and the breakfast was far beyond expectations. The sunrise was spectacular. Add the fishing boats coming in on mass was a sight!

View on the beach was great, lovely to see the fishermen return from their fishing trip in the morning. Because of the bad road, it is quite a ride to the more vivid action in Amed.

Be careful! The taxi driver linked to the vila is overcharging a lot!!! Best to book your own driver because the taxi driver does not offer fair prices (we only got to know after)

Loved all of the the following: the location on the beach, perfect view of sunrise, friendly staff, getting to watch the fishermen head out and come in, the pool, the facilities.. It was all great

The only thing was that the bed in the second room has a cool mattress that wasn't so comfortable,

Lovely, peaceful, tranquil, great water features including a beautiful pool looking out onto the ocean. The staff were warm, accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful.

A little far from good snorkeling etc so plan on needing a driver or motorbike for most everything

Cats hair and pee all over the exterior sunchair and pergola ( i am highly allergic… so had to swallow medication for the whole stay)

The place is amazing, super clean and all the staff is simply wonderful and extra attentive. Mrs Wayan and Mr Wayan and the other member of the crew were exquisite. Beautiful home and pool and location

Meals were simple but nice. Wayan, Wayan and ILU were extremely helpful and very attentive. Views from the Villa main dining area were superb overlooked the ocean and infinity pool. There was a Wonderful sea breeze all day long so temperatures were pleasant.

The location was not great. The Villa was isolated with no nearby services, restaurants unless you had transport. Main Road was narrow and not conducive to walking along and nowhere to go. The beach was pleasant but difficult to walk on large rocks.

We stayed at the three bedroom villa. Photos don't make justice. It's a wonderful villa with a great charm. Peaceful, beautifully decorated, superb living area and terrace. It's at a 15 minutes drive to Amed but we actually didn't care as we valued the peace in the area. The personnel was very caring and always responsive to our needs. They prepared an excellent breakfast for us every day. The beach in front of the house is not well suited for swimming (at least during our stay) because of wind and waves, however there are other excellent spots for snorkeling very near. The area feels very authentic and not too touristy. We highly recommend it for those looking for a mix of authenticity, good snorkeling and peace.

The second and third bedrooms don't have see view, although we didn't use them. Also, personnel uses the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the other guests in the other villa, which is something that should be advertised. Apart from that, our stay at villa Ida was perfect.
