The Mayflower - Heritage Villa

The host Ms. Susan is such a warm and friendly lady. The location of the Villa is a big plus as all the attractions are nearby and autos/taxis are easily available. We stayed in the family room which was spacious enough to accommodate our family of three quite comfortably (in fact it can accommodate 4 adults easily). And the cherry on top is the lip-smacking delicious breakfast Ms. Susan serves her guests every morning. Egg Curry and Masala Dosa we had are the best we've had anywhere till date.

The only suggestion i can give is to include the Television inside the family room instead of a separate sitting outside. This will ensure privacy and comfort for the guests as well as the host.

Susan is the best host I have ever met! She makes you feel like at home, like you are a part of her family. She can organise a boat trip for you, call a tuctuc driver, suggest nice places around. The room is clean and the traditional breakfast is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay here with our family. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made our experience even more comfortable. The villa owner was incredibly warm, caring, and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. One of the best parts of our experience was the delicious breakfast served every morning. We also really appreciated the boating arrangements provided by the property — it was convenient, well organized, and reasonably priced. Overall, the atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and family-friendly. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

If you’re unsure where to stay in Alleppey, book this home stay! Susan looked after me brilliantly from arriving late in the evening to thoughtful recommendation of activities I might enjoy, without being overbearing. The room was clean and comfortable (and huge!) and the daily breakfasts were a highlight. Susan is clearly very well respected by the local community and this helps to ensure a fantastic stay and a comforting environment. Everything was brilliant- and I hope to stay again.
