Kalidasa Tree House and Villa,Wayanad

The food was great. The hosts were extremely friendly. Surrounding was good, but approach to hotel was a bit difficult.

The rooms and facilities were not up to the mark.

Courteous hospitality by the host from step in to step out. If we get a chance to go to Wayanad , without any second thought it’s going to be this property for our stay

Gorgeous little villa in the middle of nature. Quiet, lush, just perfect. The owners are absolutely lovely and made us feel at home.

The serenity and surrounding nature in the location

This is really an exceptional place in the Keralan jungle. Middle in the nature, but very near to Kuruva Island. You can sit on the spacious veranda watching bird TV, enjoy the fantastic food and be happy. Room is big and well maintained, the owners are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is strong. Do anyone want more?

The overall experience starts with the host... Sudheesh, his wife and family were excellent hosts, friendly, resourceful and ready to ensure that our stay was memorable. There was a warmth in their behavior which made us feel at home. The location is just awesome - serene, peaceful and relaxing.. the tree house where we stayed has been maintained very well. It wasn't a very large room, but considering it's a tree house, the room was sizeable, comfortable, and with working geyser in the bathroom...the balcony provides a view of purest form of nature...the dining area is simply great...the place is a little difficult to find the and as usual Google Maps pranked us a bit in the home stretch, but we could navigate by calling Sudheesh... They provided fresh local breakfast and we had tasty home cooked dinner served hot and fresh...night safari was also arranged on a shared basis with another family...so cost became more affordable.... A word of caution - telephone network there is quite patchy...so be careful...My wife and I both have Airtel connection and as usual the connectivity was completely unreliable and really bad at times...

Nothing that I didn't like... but probably they can work on adding some more variety to the food... especially breakfast and dinner because lunch would normally be outside. Currently it's a common kitchen with the same food that the hosts and the guests have...its fresh and good, but maybe additional help can be employed to add more variety for the guests which can be discussed in the morning to facilitate the procurement of raw materials... also some quick snack item might be kept as an option (on cost basis) because the location is quite remote...

Amazing stay. Clean and comfortable property. Hosts were AMAZING - willing to show us around their edible garden and explain all of the plants and there uses in medicine and food. Happy to cook meals for you that are great quality and very affordable price. Family feel, idyllic location. A MUST stay if you’re heading to Wayanad.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The location is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts, along with their warmth and hospitality, made our experience even more special. They organized a fantastic nighttime safari and a thrilling river rafting adventure for us.
