Kalidasa Tree House and Villa,Wayanad

Everything was great. The accommodations are beautifully set within nature. You can sit and watch /listen to the birds and the sounds of the forest. The food is delicious home cooked and plentiful. Most of what you eat has zero food miles - it’s grown on the farm. Sudeesh helps you plan your visit with local walks or more adventurous trips to the tiger reserve or the waterfalls. The taxi driver namchi is helpful courteous and careful.

We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

A hidden gem in Wanyanad. You relax as soon as you arrive at this beautiful spot. The owners are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The home cooked local food is delicious and always freshly prepared. Much better than a luxury resort, because it has this family spirit.

Kalidasa Tree house really went out of their way to make our stay as calm and wonderful as possible. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the view and surroundings are beautiful. The home cooked meals were really delicious and you could just feel everything was made with love. We had a bit of confusion and drama with our taxi driver who dropped us off there and they stepped in to assist and helped to ease our struggles which we are really grateful for. Nothing really

We had a wonderful time at Kalidasa tree House. After we booked The owner Sudheesh put us in contact with Namshi, a local driver who collected us and confortably got us to the Treehouse. Once there we had stunning home cooked lunch. The owner and his family could not have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable and the location was stunning.

the location of this place is fantastic. the home cooked food is also excellent. Both Sudeesh and his family are lovely and very helpful and welcoming.

I stayed in Kalidasa Tree House for 3 days. Everything was wonderful. The Guesthouse is lovely and surrounded by beautiful nature! Sudheesh (the owner) and his whole family are very very friendly. They made my days lovely. The offered food was one of the best I had in India! Sudheesh helped me to organize my days and brought me in connection with Namshi. Namshi offered me pickups and organized wonderful Safaris in Nagarhole Tiger Reserve and Wayanad National Park! Sudheesh and his family and Namshi get 10 of 10 from me! Thanks for the great days in Wayanad!!!

Everything fine!

Very neat and tidy place. A family that lives here took great care of us, they are the best in providing hospitality and service. Easy to reach, located very close to kuruvu island (walkable distance). Owner sudesh and family are very friendly, great food (both chicken and fish was really good), very clean rooms. The place has lush greeneries with varieties of flowers and fruits. We went there to celebrate our anniversary, they took in special request to decorate the house, provided cake upon request.
