Washing machine would be nice. Heating the pool in cooler weather would be great.

There was a good amount of space for our family of 5. The views over the Caldera were very beautiful. The villa is right next door to all the shops and restaurants of Oia. The pool was great as the weather was very hot. Porters were provided to help us with our luggage. The hostess met us on site. A big effort was made to have the villa ready for our slightly early check-in. Prior to our arrival, the hostess was helpful recommending restaurants, activities and in arranging airport transport for us. When my daughter accidently left her phone in the vehicle that took us to the airport, the hostess was a fantastic help in finding somebody who would transport it back to us.

The floor of the bedroom was not cleaned properly. On our first evening in the villa I dropped an earring so had to get down on my hands and knees to find it. I was surprised that the floor near the master bedroom mirror was covered in dust, dirt and long black hair. I realise that there may not have been much time to do a thorough clean before we arrived. The bathroom had a damp, musky smell and the walls had areas where moisture was causing the surface to peel and crumble. It is a cave villa, so quite understandable. It was great to have a pool, but in my opinion, it would have been nicer if the colour wasn’t brown as it made the water look brown. The colour didn’t really bother me, but my daughter was hesitant to get in because she thought it looked dirty. We were advised by the hostess that it is very important never to flush any toilet paper down the toilet or the pipes will get blocked. We were very careful not to do this, but on one occasion I nearly forgot, and had to go back and pull out the wet toilet paper before flushing it. This is a problem in all of Santorini, not just this villa. There was no drinking water provided. We had to buy all of our own drinking water and I gave feedback about this via the bookings.com site as I found it strange that we were given daily breakfast provisions but no water. The host didn’t rectify it but instead said my feedback would be considered. Security is taken very lightly. The safety deposit box in the bedroom was so light, it could be easily lifted by my 13 year old daughter and was not a safe place to leave our valuables. However, the hostess assured me that the villa is a very safe place. This is despite the fact that crowds of tourists stand outside the roped off area of the villa stairs on a daily basis taking photos. This is a testament to the amazing views, but still an an inconvenience every time we left or entered the villa.

It's my 3rd time in santorini and we loved how big the space was. The complimentary breakfast was great and unexpected. Mary was responsive. Was a good host as she really tried to answer every question.

The room with the 2 bedroom had some problem with WC ventilation. Smell was not okay, which is a big deal for us. We went in 2 groups so if you are coming from other hotel make sure to inform them as we had to drag big luggages from the castle to the meeting place without help. We were offered a porter to meet us halfway but i didn't see the point as the stairs going up was already done and its all flat to the meeting point to the room. Pool was not as heated as the pool i've already tried in santorini. Would have been a better experience if it was heated more.

The size of the place is very huge, especially the terrace with excellent location right in the center of oia , separate kitchen and amazing views . The host response to my emails was very good, so I made a request for airport transfers and birthday decorations. Everything was arranged as requested. The manager vasilas was very warm helpful with the luggages suggested good food places , got the villa cleaned every morning helped us with whatever requirements we needed.
