Oasis Bungalows

Everyone was very nice and the bungalow was cute

The location was perfect for us. In a back lane far away enough from the main road to be quieter and still in walking distance of Bingin Beach (you could check the surf conditions from a paddock behind!). It was also close to a nearby village of shops, cafes and restaurants (Cashew Tree was our favourite breakfast and lunch spot and Bagus Seafood BBQ on Bingin beach is a must-do for cold beers and freshly caught and BBQ'd seafood - fish, prawns, squid). Oasis is also great value - less than you'd pay for say Sal's Spot or Mick's place that have the beach views. There's only 3 bungalows: 1 on the lane way side, 2 and 3 at the back of the property, a communal hut for eating or hanging out (and had some books to read). Your bungalow also has a back courtyard to swing in your hammock or stretch out on a lounger as well. There was sun loungers, an umbrella, tables and chairs on your front porch as well. The Bungalows surrounded a well maintained pool so it's very private. We had bungalow 3 and for most of our stay, we had the place to ourselves which was pretty special! The bungalows are beautifully decorated in Bali boho style with lots of natural colours and materials and a mosquito net over the bed which was also useful at night as mosquitoes were about. It truly is an Oasis to stay at when you aren't exploring the many surrounding spots in Uluwatu. Bayu was a great host attending to some requests we made initially and the staff looking after us were lovely and attentive.

The staff weren't always sure when we were still in our Bungalow or out and the room could be serviced which was a little awkward at times. A do not disturb/please make up my room door tag could help. The towels sometimes didn't dry between uses so a change of them more frequently would've been great. The bed was also a bit too firm and bouncy so not as comfy as we'd have liked.

The bungalow was just like the photos, it was beautiful and clean, and there are only 3 on the property. The bed was very comfortable too-

The stay at Oasis Bungalows was just great. The three bungalows are charming and have been decorated with love. The outdoor bathroom was also an absolute highlight. Special mention must be made of the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness in the accommodation. We have lacked nothing and if we had any questions, we were helped immediately. We have booked a scooter for the time of our stay, as well as the transfer to Ubud through the accommodation and everything worked out perfectly and without any issues. Ani's breakfast was simply delicious and gave us a good start to the day every morning. If we ever come back, we would definitely stay here again. Recommendation 10/10. Thanks for everything!

I agree with others that the bathroom is outdated; it’s not dirty, but it looks like that. The music at night in the area is very loud. Oasis can’t help that, but I didn’t like using my noise cancelling, trying to sleep. Price is way too high for what you get. And their advertised ‘400 meter to Dreamland beach’ is nonsense. You walk 600 meter through no man’s land, arrive at a cliff, can walk down steep stairs to the beginning of Dreamland beach, but be aware: only with low tide you can cross the big rocks on the beach and walk for at least 1 km to reach the real Dreamland beach. And: strong current, so be careful. Alternative: taxi for 20 minutes. If I had known this I would never have stayed in Oasis. Much better places closer to beaches with better prices.

Nice small bungalows with a shared pool in the middle. The garden outside was blooming and well maintained. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. Good choice for a short stay.

The bungalow was smaller than what we would anticipate for that price. Generally, it is a bit overpriced for what they offer, and compared to other places we stayed in Bali.

Beautiful bungalow style with out door bathroom. Great location with easy accessiblity to the start of the beach. Very stylish bungalow, unique room and very clean. Bayu Nan was very responsive on Watsapp, the other person (general manager? whos number we originally were provided with was not responsive at all.

No conditioner provided in the bathroom. Outdoor bathrooms are great in theory but with mosquitos at night etc, it can be a bit scary, so would have preferred an indoor toilet. The netflix wasn't working and the owner knew it needed to be replaced, he organised it to be replaced on the second day but thought we wouldn't notice? The hot water stopped working every morning and evening after less than 3 minutes. No bottled water provided every day for teeth brushing etc but we did find the water filter outside ourselves without being informed. The lady who 'welcomed' us was really quite hostile and scolded us for arriving late. She didn't want to help with our bags and was not particularly warm or helpful at all. She complained multiple times about having to wait for us since 1pm, when I had messaged multiple times with updated ETA's the entire day on booking.com, it is not my problem the message wasn't forwarded to her. We didn't arrive outside of business hours either - Around 4pm. Was quite awkward like she expected us to keep apologising and felt unprofessional. The worst thing was the noise. I was woken up at 1:30am to absolute screaming, splashing, burping, fighting, and carrying on as though they were in bed with us. It was SO LOUD. There is absolutely no sound proofing at all and so I was up for 1.5 hours in the middle of the night due to the teenagers in the adjacent accomodation. They werent even on the same site. I know that rowdy and disrespectful teenagers isn't the sites problem and the man on watsapp informed me they were told off the next day but again I heard it at 11pm the next night again. The site really need to have signs informing of noise control past a certain time or not using the pool at 2am and maybe even investing in some sound proofing. because of this rowdiness I wouldn't stay there again, it was bloody awful.
