Villa Montanha, 4 Bedroom Villa, with swimming pool, loungers and alfresco dining, 10 min walk to the beautiful Praia da Luz Beach, Shops, Bars and Restaur

Large home in a convenient location with a spectacular pool. Decorated beautifully and fit our needs for our family perfectly.

No trash bags or extra toilet paper. When traveling for 14 hours the last thing we want to do is go find a store to buy paper products. Extra towels would also be suggested. Also we didn’t know how to use the appliances. Being from the US I would suggest a short instruction manual for the stove, washer and dryer.

The villa was very well appointed with a beautiful swimming pool. A short taxi ride ( more than 10min walk!) was all that was needed to many splendid restaurants.

Unfortunately there was a new large villa being built next door that occasionally made noise, but I guess that will only last for a short while longer.

The property was lovely, spacious, and well equipped. It was a nice walk to the beach and restaurants. We had a lovely time

Super house and pool and great space. Would love to go again next year as it suited our families needs.

Steep hill and footpaths not wheelchair/ buggy friendly.

Beautiful villa with everything you need to hand. Short walk to shops and beach of Praia da Luz.

Swimming pool lovely.

It takes much longer than 10 minutes to walk to beach and shops. It’s more like 25 minutes and beware the long hill coming back from the beach, shops and restaurants. The villa’s decor is dated. It’s clear no one has lived there for a long time. For example in the bedrooms there are very few plugs and mirrors are scarce too. The dining table only had 6 chairs round it (we had to carry in chairs from the bedrooms) and the lounge only seats five people. We had to bring chairs in from the patio. But the villa is for 8 people! The garden was very poorly maintained.

The villa is lovely for a family holiday, well equipped and clean. Large pool.

Construction of a villa adjacent to the property, with cranes and workmen in full view. There should be full transparency given to guests upon booking. We were impacted 5 days out of 7 with drilling/hammering/machinery. Very steep hill, which would be difficult for elderly guests. Longer than 10 minutes walk into Luz. Pool isn’t heated so can be very cold.
