Clan Cottages Luxury Thatched Retreat near Oban

Ein ruhiger Ort weg vom Touristenrummel, aber nah genug, um alle Angebote der Region entspannt nutzen zu können. Alles war sauber und alles Notwendige stand zur Verfügung.

Lovely idyllic setting, beautiful landscape, and a great place to use as a base for onward exploration. Great communication from the host, as well as a wonderful welcome. The cottage was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotless inside.

the place is stunning, and the view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking. We’re really enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and natural surroundings. The cottage is clean and cozy, which we truly appreciate.

we did notice a few things we wanted to mention: • There is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and we’ve seen a few insects — which we understand might be due to the cottage being in the middle of nature. • Also, we couldn’t find any shampoo or shower gel provided in the cottage.

Like a little home away from home. Secluded quiet but not too far from Oban if driving.

We did not have breakfast there but there were snacks ans drinks provided by the h I stess.

We really liked everything about Clan Cottages!

This is a fantastic cottage overlooking the lake. We loved seeing the lake change in character through the day. It was a fantastic size for the three of us. Very warm cottage. Great facilities available in the cottage. We were so pleased we chose here. It was so peaceful. A short drive to Oban. There was an issue with the internet on the second morning but I called the host who sorted it straight away.

Main shower poor so we all used the ensuite shower over bath which was good. One chair was rickety in the lounge so we avoided using that. The second bedroom door was scratching the floor when you opened it which meant it was noisy in the night/early morning. There was a ready supply of DVDs available but alas no DVD player. However, these are really small gripes and I have only written them here as I didn't find the host on the final morning to mention them too. They would definitely not stop us booking here again.

It was a cosy cottage with all of the home from home comforts.

It just needed a few more lights on the outside of the cottage
