Clan Cottages Luxury Thatched Retreat near Oban

It was in a spectacular setting, had everything in it we needed. It was very private & peaceful. Mary our host was wonderful & full of information about the area. Nothing was too much trouble.

Superb, loved the location and the cottage.

Outdoor seating had seen better days and garden would have been nicer with a small tidy up, weeding and cutting back plants hanging over the paths.

Location is absolutely fantastic.

The owner was superb, she helped us with anything we needed and is really friendly. The place was fully kitted out, everything was there in the cottage and it was all beautifully clean. Thank you!

We have stayed in several self - catering places in Scotland and we have to say that Clan Cottages was the best. From the start Mary and her family were always around to help and provide advice and assistance, and the added comforts such as the guest hut which was full of lovely things, made our stay truly memorable. The McKinnon Cottage was spacious and had everything we needed, it was also lovely to have milk in the fridge and a welcome basket of biscuits and drinks. The Guest Information folder is packed with useful tips about where to visit in Oban and we really found it helpful. The surroundings made it even more delightful and my son was delighted to be able to learn how to fish for the first time in the nearby loch, he now is very keen to continue to pursue this hobby thanks to the support and encouragement he received from Martin.   It really was both a true pleasure and a privilege to be able to stay at Clan Cottages and enjoy the peace and tranquillity there. My family will be coming back again in the not too distant future!.

There is nothing we didnt like at Clan Cottages, it was all very positive!.
