Casa olive

We spent one week with our family (parents + 2 children 9 and 12) in the villa end of April 2023 (first week of Netherlands "May" school vacation) and it has been a fantastic experience. Our very friendly host Konstantinos was there when we arrived to checkin, giving a warm welcome. He handed over the keys and explained everything about the facilities. He also shared a list of recommended restaurants. Konstantinos left groceries in the kitchen (Nespresso cups, water bottles, olive oil, honey, etc) so we didn't need to rush a supermarket upon arrival (which is nearby anyway) First of all about the villa: it is newly renovated, freshly painted, nicely decorated with new furniture giving a refined and luxurious touch. Remarkable: the two bedrooms are equipped with very good beds and mattresses! The front terrace is very nice to have breakfast while the side terrace is good to relax in the afternoon. There is also a brand new and big washing machine. Warm water is provided via a sun boiler system which works very well (in case there's no sun, there's always the option to heat it via electricity). In the kitchen there's also a TV set with Netflix. Secondly about the location: Tolo is less than a 2 hour drive from Athens (airport) and it is easy to reach. We found it an excellent base to explore nearby archeological sites such as Mykene and Epidaurus. The city of Nauplion is just a 15 minutes drive. Tolo is a charming village focused on tourism but with a genuine Greek atmosphere. You can relax on the beach, you can easily rent a boat to visit the nearby islands and also Pegasus Cruise offers a 1 day cruise to Hydra and Spetses that starts from the port in front of the villa. The villa is the second house in the street that starts from the port with a nice kiosk in front. The beach also starts here. There's some port activity of boats being renovated.

Greece still has a lot of noisy scooters, and there were young boys driving back and forth on Friday and Saturday evening until 23h00 before heading out to Nauplion. But overall it was very quiet when we stayed there.

Newly refurbished comfortable House with 2 terraces, fully furnished with well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, hot water available 24/7.

As we stayed with family dishwasher and washing machine would have been usefull( we ended up using laundry service in the city which was very fast and convenient).

New, spacious enough apartments. In the kitchen you will find everything you might need. Perfect terrace for sunbathing

Casa Olive at the very southern end of Tolo has excellent location - easy access by car from both roads. But the same time a minute from the safe beach and if you are into sea activities, then small marina is just next to it as well. If you arrive by car, then you can use a parking place in treeshade. Shops, restaurants and other facilities are just a small walk away. As of august 2022 the house was renovated just a couple of months ago and everything was very clean and neat. The selection of equipment and utensils was a lot better than in typical rental apartments. Host is very friendly and lovely and has given attention to some details that you may not find everywhere. The house has two terraces and one of them usually shades you from the sun or keeps you in the heat of the sun (whichever way you prefer). If you like to sleep without aircon, then mosquito nets on windows and the positioning of windows allows the flow of nightly sweet breeze through the house. And if you prefer to sleep in silence then fully closed high qiality windows mute all outside noises. For added bit of safety you can also lock the outer gate.

Clean, next to the beach and close to all amenities in Tolo. Very handy to go on early departing cruises/boat tours. Shaded patio great for breakfast and lunch. Konstantinos a super host. Added bonus of a dedicated parking space.
