O2 Villas Yala

Lovely villas truly immersed in nature. Rooms were very comfortable and the private pool was stunning. Food was very good and staff were extremely attentive.

Felt a little unfinished and not necessarily the property’s fault, but lacked atmosphere. Slightly overpriced until they add some finishing touches.

Michael and his team were extremely helpful in getting us settled in and enjoying a relaxing holiday, including a safari to Yala National Park. The villas were beautiful, and they included a private pool. The rooms were new, and their attention to decor and comfort is evident at every turn. The staff is amazing, and every member was ready and professional to support our relaxing stay. This is a wonderful property that is supported by an outstanding team!

Die Lage ist sehr schön und auf die Zimmer sind sehr schön dekoriert. Der Pool war auch sehr toll!

Leider hat uns dieses Hotel mit sehr vielen kleinen Punkten nicht überzeugt:( Wir finden das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier einfach nicht. Wir konnten noch ein Angebot ergattern und sogar das fanden wir vom Preis her nicht stimmig. Die Villa fanden wir auf den ersten Blick wunderschön doch mit der Zeit merkte man viele Dinge "Made in China". Was uns auch ein Mitarbeiter dann bestätigt hat 🤭. Die vielen Lichtschalter waren verwirrend. Der Strom fiel mind. 20 Mal am Tag aus, so das ein erholsamer Schlaf nicht möglich war, die Klimaanlage ging nicht von alleine wieder an, man musste aufstehen und einen eigenen Schalter dafür betätigen.. Nachts nicht so lustig. Ebenso gab es einen eigenen Schalter für das Warmwasser was uns niemand mitteilte so das wir 2 Tage kein Warmwasser zum duschen hatten. Auch das Restaurant war immer leer und hatte eher eine Kantinen Atmosphäre als gemütliches Essen. Im Zimmer gab es eine wunderbare 5 Seitige Frühstücks Karte jedoch gab es nur 6 klassische (wie überall) Gerichte zur Auswahl. Als Ausrede meinte man weil keine Saison ist? März ist Saison dort! Vieles hat einfach nicht gepasst zu diesem unglaublich hohen Preis!

Everything about this place was incredible. The villas and rooms are beautifully designed and set in a stunning natural environment that makes the whole stay feel peaceful and luxurious. The location is perfect for visiting Yala and the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. What truly made the experience special, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay, and their hospitality really stood out.

There was honestly nothing to dislike. The property exceeded our expectations in every way.

The staff were impeccable - Pradeep took us on both of our safaris to both Yala and Bundala and couldn't do more to ensure our day was enjoyable, he spotted animals, packed us snacks and drinks and was really fun to spend the day with. Abijaya took us (and the resident dogs and puppies) for a sandune walk and Hiruka looked after us through meals and fed and watered us. And jointly they arranged the most beautiful bonfire bbq seafood and meat dinner for us on our last night. We also loved the new clean 2-bedroom villa with pool with sea views. The hotel is in close proximity to the main parks and has monkeys, squirrels, birds, monitor lizards on site.

There wasn't anything to dislike necessary, just important disclosures. For some reason there were no other guests when we stayed. The hotel has frequent power cuts and with the heat this impacts air conditioning and the fridge and the hot water.but the power is restored promptly. The hotel is also not entirely complete. There are spaces downstairs at each villa which was supposed to be a fish pond but it is to be done in the future so for now it is just an empty concrete space. The wine list is very limited (literally only 1 bottle of rose). Food is so so but this a combination of produce supply and refridgeration.
