Wonderful hotel with beautiful cabins in Yala. Amazing food onsite and they also organized our Safari drives. Highly recommended especially because of their service. Particularly appreciated Hiruka, who made the restaurant feel like our home dining room, and Dinithi for her thoughtful touches and constant service. They also had sweet puppies at every villa as their guardians, loved everything.

Very very minor but their delicious Sri Lankan rice and curry menu for dinner was the same on both nights, the food was so good that I wish we could've tried more things from the chef.

The concept of the property is nice - more villas on two levels - the lower part guests the restaurant and the bar, built in a planted forest, and the upper part, above the canopy, is the actual villas, overlooking the ocean. Our accommodation was part of the old part of the resort, a two villas niche isolated by a mud-traditional wall, so it had a garden view, overlooking the pool and the other villa.

Services! While the stuff is nice & friendly, most of them don’t know the basics of hotel services: we had to wait for about an hour for breakfast and dinner, which is a shame since we have ordered them a day before & the food was tasty. The cleaning services are disastrous, they are only doing the beds, the bathroom and floors are dirty, all appliances look very dated and old, although they are no more than 5-6 y.o.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel O2 Yala Villa. The housekeeping was excellent everything was kept very clean, tidy, and comfortable throughout our stay. The view was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even more special, especially for relaxing and unwinding. The peaceful surroundings and attention to cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm stay with a beautiful view near Yala. Special thanks to viraj.... Thank you.....

Wow. We stayed at o2 villas for 2 nights on an all inclusive basis and were blown away by the rooms, service, food and safari. The staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The villa with outside pool was stunning. We went on an afternoon safari and managed to see all of the major animals in the park. We also enjoyed 2 walking safaris from the villas, where we saw crocodiles, monitor lizards and beach wildlife. This was the real highlight of our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. We would highly recommend staying here. It’s perhaps a bit more expensive than some alternatives but in our opinion worth every penny. We can’t wait to come back!
