The view of the Vaal river was beautiful and the decor in the house was very well done.

It was very hot during our stay and it would have been great if there was aircons as the fans were not doing much in the heat.

We loved the house, it has an amazing modern look with high quality furniture and plenty of spots to sit and relax. Contrasted exposed beams on the high ceilings was a nice touch making the place spacious even more. The house was well kept and had all we need for self catering, the owner was always there to assist with anything. We best enjoyed the bean bag chairs. The 180 degree river view from indoors too was breath taking, from the morning till sunset. Great WIFI and smart TV for YouTube and DSTV. We saw almost 3 seasons during our 3 night stay, the morning fog over the river was awe inspiring. The peace and tranquility of the place is so refreshing and helps recalibrate one’s senses, and reminding us of how great and righteous God is to have created such beauty. And lastly there is backup power during load shedding with no limits.

Nothing. This place is perfect the way it is and a true sense of modern “back to nature” scenery. No need for a pool, it’ll distract from what’s going on there, the environment is cool enough with the wind blowing over the river.

The place was spacious and comfortable. all our needs were seen too. extremely clean. host takes pride in ensuring our comfort. the atmosphere and the river view naturally relaxes you.
