Ubud Season Villas

The villa is quite nice. It's small but comfy. Beds and air conditioners were good.

1. Kitchen door does not open fully. It does not close fully either. So if you are inside the kitchen and want to get it air conditioned you have to close it with the key. So if anyone wants to get inside, you have to open the door for them. 2. The pool looked dirty. 3. The wifi was loosing connection, but it's common on Bali. 4. Now the main point why I only gave 2 stars to this villa. We were travelling to Gili islands after staying at the villa. I was struggling to find a good boat, as websites on Bali are still in early 2000s. So I decided to ask our host about the boats, mentioning that we have no strict limit in money and do not really stand the smell of fuel and heat. The host recommended a boat (semaya one). We decided to trust him. It was the worst experience I have ever had in my live (trust me I've seen a lot). There were more people in the boat than there were sits. The smell of the fuel, toilet door that was hitting my girlfriend while she was sitting almost on the engine, a guy sleeping on me, no air conditioner - everything was there. It was bad. We had to cancel our return ticket (they do not return money on the Gili islands) and buy a new ticket for Eka Jaya - it was good (air conditioner, lots of sits etc.). Besides, the owner of the villa proposed us to give a ride to the harbour, and it cost twice as much as taxi. (I was not planning to buy the return ticket, but he said to the lady in the harbour that we are buying it and I was too humble to disagree).

Beautiful accommodations with exceptional staff.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The villa was in walking distance of the owner’s restaurant called The Grill Ubud, a mini market, and other tasty restaurants. They made good use of the space and we had our own private pool.

The breakfast was included for our stay and we were grateful for that. The host are very quick in responding to our requests and questions and the staff are very efficient and friendly as well. The staff will put the mosquitoes' coils to drive the mosquitoes away, so it was good. We got the massage services from the Villa but was not as good as we expected. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and had helped in providing us with a very good night rest.

The villa is quite a long way in from the main street so it will be a workout to walk out to the street. However, we just ordered grab car (very affordable and fast) to get us to the different locations. The villa is a bit dated (the kitchen door can't be closed), one of the room's aircon was leaking and the toilet door can't closed properly without making a loud noise.

Absolutely beautiful villa! Stunning gardens! It’s like you walked into a secluded sanctuary where you instantly relaxed!!! The staff were very responsive and catered to all needs immediately. The villa is perfect for a little family as you can leave the dividing wall open so you are cone ted throughout the night! We loved everything about season villas!!! Amazing!

Nothing, it was actually perfect!

Amazing villas! exactly like the pictures. Beautifully decorated, clean and the staff was super attentive. Huge rooms with private bathrooms, comfortable kitchen and living area. There were only two villas, so was very private. We only stayed two nights and where exploring the surroundings all day, therefore I would recommend a longer stay to enjoy the villas, They are absolutely gorgeous! There is a big supermarket which was very convenient. We travelled with carry on and was easy to access the villa from the main street. However keep in mind if you bring more luggage, you have to walk from the main street all the way to the villa through a narrow path. Very safe and we did not have any issues with bugs.

Location was secluded, probably a 20 mins walk to center or 3-4 min car/motorbike ride if using GRAB. This is not a bad thing, just an FYI.
