The Villa was exceptionally clean, everyone was very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was included.

The location is a little out of Ubud centre, but is only a short/cheap taxi ride away and we really enjoyed having the option of going into hustle and bustle or not. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, including a small cafe with the most amazing sunset views within 3 or 4 minutes walk and Jungle Fish / Campuhan Ridge restaurants about 15 minutes walk. The location is also great for day trips out towards the north of Bali, like towards Mount Batur. I have to mention Wayan and his family who own and run the villa, and who are one of the most hospitable families we’ve ever met! They were helpful right from the point of making our booking to bringing our breakfast every morning with a smile and helping us to learn some Indonesian language :). Wayan and his family included us in their celebratory meals made as part of the Kuningan festival and made us feel like part of their family - I can’t say enough great things about them in just a trip review. The gardens and landscaping are breathtaking and it really feels like walking into a little bit of paradise.

Nestled into a Balinese local community compound this lovely Villa with it’s beautiful garden and pool was the perfect place to wind down and relax. Away from the tourist crowds in Ubud but still close to everything we had a great few relaxing days. Very well maintained and looked after by the friendly Wayan and Kadek we loved every moment of our stay!

Loved the place, very private at the back of a traditional Balinese family compound overlooking rice fields and coconut trees. Owner very welcoming. Villa is clean, smart, very comfortable, private, pool great, breakfast simple but good. Highly recommend was the best of 3 places we stayed in in Ubud

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay in Puri Astina Villa. The owner and his family were very welcoming and kind. They helped us with our luggage and even they helped deliver clothes to the laundry and had them back to the villa within the same day! The pool was great and very clean. The view of the jungle beside the villa was amazing. The garden was very beautiful, you can enjoy having your breakfast or dinner there and feel very relaxed. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was a great experience staying in this villa and I would recommend it for anyone staying in Ubud and looking for a comfort/relaxation.

The villa is beautiful. Really clean. Very assertive & helpful host. Assisted us in sending and getting back our clothes from the laundry.

Breakfast is quite simple and very limited. Quite high stairs, a bit of hassle when you have huge luggage, but once luggage all clear, it's all good.
