Villa Kandy

De behulpzaamheid van de eigenaar is enorm groot, en eerlijk. Zeer prettig. De woonkamer die buiten is, is leuk. Verder zijn de slaapkamers en de badkamers gewoon prima.

De keuken is echt qua hygiëne minder. Wij vonden het fijn, vooral ons ontbijt, zelf te maken. Dat is prima gelukt, maar niet direct prettig in deze keuken.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, phantastisches Essen, schöne Zimmer( anfangs etwas feucht…).

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Close to Kandy center, nice house with 3 separate rooms. The dining room is in the middle and open, which is nice.

The swimming pool was a big dissapointment. Our children got cuts from the sharp edges of the pool tiles. The owner told us new ones will be delivered to repair the broken ones. Replacing some probably won’t be enough though. With some repairs, the owner could make a lot more of this villa. The pictures show a prettier and fancier accomodation. Looks like the pictures are made in better times.

Location was incorrect and we couldn't reach the villa. The host didn't answer the call and we wasted 3 hours searching for it. Ended up booking another place.

Friendly staff.

A lot of insects and cockroaches. If you turn off the ac they will enter on your room.

The bedrooms were clean and the air conditioning units worked. Luckily these rooms were the only place living creatures seemed unable to get into.

The property was not ready for our arrival, we waited 15 minutes for a property management staff member to arrive and then cleaned. The kitchen was dark and gloomy. The freeze in the fridge did not work. There were 2 dead bats on a light in the living area. I encountered 2 cockroaches, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in my en-suite bathroom. The pictures of the property did not match. Despite our request for the staff member to not come and clean the apartment in the morning, they arrived at 6am without letting us know and proceeded to sweep up leaves outside our bedroom windows and made a lot of noise whilst cleaning the kitchen, which did not look any cleaner than before.

A Vehicle cannot be taken to the property. The person in charge doesn't seem to be bothered about the guest. Some of the equipment are not in working order. Garden and the pool area poorly maintained. The size of the kitchen and living area has been exacturated in the photos. Not worth the price.

The location was good .

The room were very dirty no cleanliness of the bathroom or the rooms . The toilets were of bad conditions and the kitchen was very dingy and unhygienic. No proper lights in the kitchen no proper sockets only one sockets for microwave, refrigerator and microwave. And the day we checked in there was a fire in the living room in one of the ceiling light. There is no main door in the villa we had to lock all our doors at night which was not practical because I had kids in the rooms and they had to sleep alone with doors closed which was not good in terms of safety. The towels were not changed or offered fresh. Overall it was the worst stay ever .
