Villa Markisa Echo Beach

Great place! Staff were always friendly and accommodating.

They did not have a restaurant nor any food nearby

The keys were in the door when we arrived but the door did not seem secure. I could have pushed through the lock. However, the outside villa door lock did not work that opened up to a very dark path at night. (they need path lights). The room was clean but below my expectations. There was only 2 receptacles to plug into, the filter on the filtered water was not stable so you could not use the filtered water that is suggested due to Bali Belly. There was only one above light which was extremely dull so it is hard to read anything. The pool did not appear as clean as the pictures. They have a good marketing team because the pictures were awesome but not as such in real time. Also, if you plan on using Grab or Taxi the location is very hard to find for them. The safety box in the room did not work either. I asked where the office was and it was at the entrance with men sitting under a shelter. Not professional at all. I travel out of the US 2-3 X a year and have never given a review like this.

Lovely pool bed and room, right next to the beach and such lovely staff and security. Super lenient with check out times if you ask.

It does need some updates on the facilities, the bathroom is a bit stain and the water pressure was very weak. Fine if you have a shower but it would probably take ages to fill up the bath. The safe also reset itself and changed the password to the default (assuming that it needed new batteries), same with the electronic water pump, would not work even if we charged it. The location as-well is good the only catch is you have to walk over the beach to get the best times for grab etc, only a 10 minute walk but otherwise it adds an extra 15, 20 minutes to the ride as cars and bikes can’t go on the beach.

The design is quite nice that it has a swimming pool and private yard

It’s about out of date and for the amount of money is not really worth the price. No breakfast include and have to walk abit to get food and drinks.

Lovely private villa, the pool didn’t get much sun however a short walk to echo beach with lots of restaurants and bars on the front for sunset.

Hard to find via car.
