Ionian Village

A lovely place away from the hustle and bustle but still within a good location of restaurants and shops. The pool was lovely for lounging.

Beautiful and spacious property Manos’ communication before and during the stay was first rate. Excellent location too. Fabulous beaches and close to restaurants.

Manos, the manager, was excellent. He was very attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He seemed to genuinely take great pleasure in ensuring our holiday was as good as it could be. He took the time to get to know us and elevated our experience by giving us great beach and restaurant tips, and he arranged a hire car, and booked us onto a local wine tasting experience. The villa is great, Manos is even better.

Whilst the square and main street were great for restaurants and bars, Lixouri was a little tired but I'm picking holes. We really enjoyed our time in Kefalonia.

Excellent facilities and perfect location. Manos was an exceptional host, which made our stay even more special.

We wish we could have stayed longer

Very modern, very comfortable, perfect location - quiet, great views, but only 10 mins walk into the centre of Lixouri and the seafront. TV in the lounge area, kitchen with everything we needed - large fridge/freezer, dishwasher (& tablets provided), Air con in each room, Downstairs basement ensuite double, upstairs ensuite double (with great views) - lovely large L-shaped balcony area with large table for breakfast and awning, and comfortable chairs table round the corner for evening sun. Great pool shared with the two other villas. Big enough to swim, very clean and perfect temperature with poolside shower. Excellent comfortable sun loungers. Manos the manager was very helpful, meeting us to show us round and providing information on the local area. Lovely large bowl of fresh fruit, water, olive oil & wine on arrival. Nespresso machine with pods provided (and also a filter coffee machine). Perfect place for a relaxing two week stay

Having to go home at the end of the week!

The villa was in a lovely location within walking distance from Lixouri Town centre. The views from the rear of the villa were amazing. Manos couldn't do more to help us, showing us where the best restaurants and beaches were and also helping us promptly when we accidently locked the keys in the villa. We had a villa without a private pool but this wasn't an issue as most of the week we had the shared pool to ourselves.

Nothing, there wasn't anything we would change.

there are no words to describe this AMAZING place, the host and the atmosphere! It is so much more than the visual photos on the website...the sounds of nature, the breeze, the tranquility, the wonderful welcome of Manos the host and his generousity all along our stay, the helpful and kind team- all will make you realize that its like paradise! Practically very comfort as well: beautiful small beaches very close by, the city center in 10 min. walk, the perfect private swiming pool, great facilities... they thought about everything! Thank you Manos so very much for a wonderful vacation!

I can't think of anything.

The host Manos, was very nice and very available. Well, this was supposed to be the best accomodation for our holidays in Greece (we stayed in Zakynthos and then Kefalonia). It wasn't. Besides the nice decoration and the pool, there isn't much more. I would say this accomodation is very deceiving at least. It looks perfect, but it isn't. Not at all!

There are many villas in this property, and they seem different from each other, but we got one with 3 floors, not so practical for a family with a small baby (8 months old). The ground floor only had an open space kitchen + livingroom, not even a common bathroom on the ground floor, which meant, that if we were on the pool, kitchen or living room we had to use the stairs to go to the toilet. One of the rooms + bathroom was on floor -1 (yeah -1), basically a basement. The other room was on the first floor, with many steep stairs, and at night this bedroom was always super hot. This doesn't end up here. The kitchen is super small, no microwave, and the cook is super small, only meant for 2 pots. The dinning area is outside. Its perfect for a warm summer night, but what if it rains, or if it's cold? There are no options. Dinning area is outdoors, period. If it rains, it's covered, but not pleasant at all. Also, no washing machine, one would expect to have washing machine, as in long stays in summer destination there is always the need to do some laundry. With all these faults, after you pay, you feel somewhat robbed, because, this ain't a cheap accomodation.

The location was great. The view was amazing. We loved it all and would definitely visit again. Manos was very quick to answer any queries we had. Lovely olive oil and fruit for when we arrived. The coffee and tea selection was really good. Supermarkets, shops and restaurants all nearby. Lovely to watch the cruise ships go past as we ate breakfast. Loved the pool. Loved it all.

Only a few minor things. We couldn't find a sharp knife. The table legs on the lounge table point outwards, and we hit our toes multiple times. The lower floor bathroom door was very stiff and noisy. The toilet bins would be more hygienic if they were pedal bins. Small things that didn't stop us from loving this amazing villa.

The villa was beautifully presented and extremely comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches from Manos and his friendly team. Beautiful views and an easy, short walk into Lixouri. A great base from which to explore the island.
