Ionian Village

Lovely townhouse style villa with an incredible view across the peninsula. Easy walk to shops and restaurants but away from all the noise. Lovely staff that were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed as a family of four but as part of a larger group of 12. We had a villa with private pool and a house with the shared pool. We loved the properties inside and out, they were modern and kept spotless. The pools and the views were fantastic. We enjoyed meals on the bbq and you had everything you needed from a home away from home. The kids loved that they had Netflix on the TV too! Manos and his team could not be more helpful and friendly , nothing was too much trouble - replenishing coffee for example within mins of asking. The cleaning lady was a joy each day, always taking the time to talk to us and the little ones. We loved our stay so much . This is a wonderful place for families and couples not far from Lixouri where you can enjoy the local culture, great food and a wonderful atmosphere.

The house was very clean at arrival but the daily cleaning might be improved. There is only a quite overwhelmed person working on cleaning and setting up the apartments for new guests, house (which is very big) was only partially cleaned on a daily basis

The building is new, the design is modern, the decor is tasteful and the Villa is spotless. The shutters and aircon were brilliant in this summer heat. There was plenty of room for a family of 4 and the basement was nice and cool. The option of twin beds would have been welcomed but we used the sofa bed. The view from both balconies was to die for and Monos is a friendly host! We were welcomed in person with a huge bowl of fruit, water, wine and olive oil. It is a small walk away from the bustling, pretty Lixouri square and harbour. We really enjoyed our stay.

I had expected a private pool but it was shared between 3 villas which was slightly disappointing but still lovely. On closer examination, the booking didn’t say Private or shared, I could have checked beforehand to be sure before booking but assumed wrongly from the photographs the Villa that we had been given.

One of the best villas we have ever stayed at. Everything is absolutely perfect from the lovely pool to the view from the terrace to the modern and well equipped kitchen and bedrooms. The hosts are super helpful and welcoming and helped us have a fantastic stay in Kefalonia. Loved being able to walk into the town for dinner / lunch and our son loved the quick ferry across the bay to Argostoli. Lots of beautiful beaches and places to visit very close too. Cannot recommend Ionian Village more!!!
