Ionian Village

Villa was spotless, Kitchen well stocked with utensils and crockery. View was spectacular. Gardens well maintained. We were met by Manos and the cleaner who showed us around. The villa was so well built a 5.2 earthquake was felt but the house didn't move at all. We felt very safe.

Wonderful view, great accommodation, just worth the money

Wow! We returned from a two week stay at Ionian Village (July-August 2022). Before we arrived we received friendly and prompt responses. On arrival, we were greeted by lovely Manos who welcomed us and showed us around the property. The villa itself was boutique-style with a wonderful view that took your breath away. Bed linen was high quality, pool towels were provided and the property was kept to a high standard. Bins were emptied daily, and the kind cleaner was always busy on site. The communal pool was cleaned before 9am daily and was well equipped with high quality sun beds and bean bags - enough to share between the three villas. The shared gas BBQ was an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking vegan burgers (purchased at our local store), and Manos replenished the gas within minutes of us alerting him to it having run out. The Sclavos vineyard was just a mile away and we highly recommend the wine tasting for a special occasion or treat (€12 per person). A Greek friend of ours says it’s some of the best to come out of Greece. The local beach, Lepeda, was less than ten minutes away by car and we never got bored of visiting here. Make sure to try the unassuming beach bar, it was some of the best food we had on the trip. For a slightly more organised beach trip Petani comes top of our list. There are sunbeds (€12 for two) and friendly restaurant staff who offer a drinks service to you at the sunbeds. Erasmias boasts possibly the best grilled vegetables with balsamic glaze in Kefalonia. The location of this wonderful property is perhaps what we would recommend most highly. Previously we stayed in Lassi, and reviews of Lixouri indicated that Lixouri might be more sleepy, but in fact it exceeded our expectations. It was a simple 10-minute walk into town where the port offered restaurants, bars, shops and the car ferry to Argostoli (€3 euros each). Our favourite traditional restaurant was Akrogiali, Alvi for modern Mediterranean and I Scream for heaven sent ice-cream.

We spent 7 days at Lepeda Villa in August 2022. The villa was fantastic, it was clean, modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The property Manager, Manos was so helpful and accommodating from the initial booking, checking in and during our stay. Manos and all of his staff were fantastic. We would highly recommend the villa, and thank Manos for all his help during our stay.

The manager, Manos was super helpful. He texted us all the details until we arrived to the property, how to reach, booked taxi from ferry, answered all the questions. Great great service ! It is a brand new place, decoration is very nice and villa is very comfortable. It was super clean. Pool is a plus after you come from beach or you want to rest for few hours. Outdoor area is very spacious and very nice setup. We had everything we needed ! Thank you !

We were very happy from the moment we checked in, Manos was very helpful and was available at any time to answer our questions or help us to make the most of our time in Kefalonia. The view and standard of decor made our time when we weren’t out exploring very relaxing, the villa was cleaned too to bottom every day. We enjoyed walking into town in the evening for dinner, drinks or ice cream in the square. the location was also perfect for exploring the many lovely beaches on the peninsula.

Fabulous villa with everything you need for a family holiday. Great pool and amazing views and the location was perfect. Manos was a wonderful host and his staff so friendly and helpful, always someone available for advice on everything from booking taxis, recommending trips and even arranging food on our first evening when we arrived late. Couldn’t have asked for more.
