Villa Candela

The property was spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for the 4 generations to have their own space. Lovely pool and barbecue area

Could do with a couple more cooking pots and maybe an information booklet with taxi numbers etc

Falta de mantenimiento y limpieza

Location is very good, close to centre, supermarket and cafes. Enough space. Price is quite low. We loved it.

I would add some more blankets, and at least one more hair dryer:)

Location was fine

The shower in the en-suite was taped up and the shower over the bath had no screen or curtain. One of the showers downstairs sprayed water all over the place.

We didn't like that despite having to make a few complaints, they were completely disregarded. No communication from owner/manager and fobbed off by Booking.com who thought it was acceptable to also ignore our predicament, by trying to placate us with 5% off another trip!!! I have no idea why you think that is going to change or help our current circumstances. Needless to say I won't be booking again, why would I give you more money?! I look forward to receiving my compensation for the service you have currently not provided us with. The accommodation was not as advertised. Broken shower, drain stinking, paid extra for pool heating which did not remain on after the first day. Ants absolutely everywhere, had to keep non perishable food in hire car. First food shop had to be thrown away. We are well travelled and quite used to hot countries and associated issues/insects but not to this extent. Not the only traveller to have raised this issue, clearly this villa has an ant infestation. Main bedroom door has a massive gap in it, looks like it might have forced open at some point, cobwebs and dust evident and dirty curtains. Broken grill on bath side panel, looked like someone has kicked it. This villa needs to be brought up to standard.

Excellent value for money. Great location, with a 15 minute walk downhill to the main resort and beach. Taxis back to the villa uphill were always under €5. Lots of pool space. Good size family villa. Very quiet location. Loved the heated pool, especially in January. Pool was cleaned during our 7 day stay and clean towels were also delivered. Would recommend and return.

Villa and pool are slightly more dated/used than other villas available in the area, but nothing that worried us enough to say we weren't happy. It was excellent value for the price we paid.
