View was breathtaking, absolutely the best view that we had in Bali. The decor was really nice. The tide in the morning is perfect for an easy swim right off the steps of the villa. We saw some wild monkeys that came and visited with little babies. Which was a trip highlight, the breakfast that they offer for delivery was also really really good. This is a perfect place if you plan on have some alone time with views and not leaving much. Two nights would be perfect here.

The journey down and up the cliff was well described but it was a bit much for us. It was hard to dress up and wear cute shoes anticipating the sweat and the steep steps. The journey up and down the cliff did cause a bit of stress that took away from the relaxation. All of the steps do not have railing. Also, when returning at night. I would suggest bringing a light to see down the path. It did get a bit dark some nights although there is some lighting The bathroom has some kind of orange mold on the walls and there’s some gapping the siding of the house. We also saw a lizard in the bathroom that disappeared in the thatched roofing. Which leaked a bit during our stay. The tide gets high at night making it a bit tough to cross the beach to less steeper path out. We had to time the breaks in the tide and run the villa stairs a few nights.

The location is stunning and it’s very private. You can’t get closer to the ocean. Staff is very helpful and the bed is quite comfortable. We love the sound of the ocean but the waves do get really loud at night but there are earplugs provided if you need them.

The villa itself is pretty rustic and some things are a bit worn. No great places to put stuff or really spread out your pack. The stairs down to the villa are not easy to navigate and it’s a bit hard to find. The stairs in the villa up to the bedroom and shower are also pretty treacherous with no railing. Not recommended for anyone who can’t climb stairs. Area nearby is nice but you have to walk at least 2km to find any restaurants. A GoJek costs about $5-$6 to get to some nice areas for shopping and restaurants.
