Property quite dated but very clean still. Also just the stairs to get to the villa, but it’s really worth it!

Amazing location and view of the beach. We watched surfers all afternoon and could walk all the way along the beach at low tide and even did surf lessons further down the beach. The interior was very quaint but had a massive bed and there are lovely outdoor lounge chairs which added to our experience. The staff were so friendly and very helpful - you also have the option of ordering in breakfast and lunch which they will bring down to the property. We found the sound of the waves relaxing to sleep to but they did provide eye mask and ear plugs in case you need it. Now to the stairs down to the property. Yes there were some stairs down but we found them safe, stable and doable. In all honesty if you struggle with stairs the area of Uluwatu might not be for you, as there are stairs down to most beaches.

Like most places in Bali there is a small hot water tank meaning you need to be mindful of the length of your showers.

Incredible location, amazing staff, so helpful and friendly made me feel so welcome! The view is absolutely amazing and close to all the shops and restaurants! I didn’t mind the stairs but they definitely aren’t for everyone. The only thing I can say is the hot water ran out very quick so I was having cold showers but it was very hot in Bali anyway so I didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend, I didn’t want to leave! Despite the issues, I must say that the ocean view was stunning. The natural beauty of the surroundings truly added a special touch to the experience.

During my stay, I encountered several significant issues that made the experience quite unpleasant. Firstly, there were numerous insects on the floor, and the towels and bed sheets provided were not clean. This lack of cleanliness was concerning. Additionally, the location was very difficult to reach, which added to the inconvenience. At night, the absence of lighting made the area feel quite scary and dangerous. This created an environment that was both unsettling and unsafe for guests. Overall, the combination of poor hygiene and safety concerns greatly detracted from the overall experience. I hope these issues can be addressed promptly to improve the conditions for future guests.
