Bukit Surf Villa

We absolutely love the vibe of the villa. The room is very spacuious, clean and comfortable too. The manager Made is also very responsive with good attitude to fullfil our request due to shower heater not working.

The shower heater didn't work throughout our 4 days of stay. This has greatly affected the experience of our family trip :(

There was no breakfast but a small walk to a cafe or the cafe could deliver

The pool was dirty when we arrived which was a shock, but pool guys came promptly and had it clean by nightfall first day.

House is great design and nice open space

2 x rooms had water coming from walls and roof, lots of.mould Other outside room was not able to be sealed from mosquito.

Great space for relaxing with friends. Pool and pool table were great. Big rooms and the staff were really nice. Close to some good shopping and cafes. A couple clubs nearby (hatch and tabu) which were pretty solid. Padang Padang 15min walk.

The place is quite worn down. Sheets felt dirty. Upstairs outside rooms were pretty hot. A bit of a walk to shops. Hosts didn't reply on whatsapp when messaged prior to booking. Would recommend max 3 nights here.

Power kept tripping on and off, aircon didn’t work and the water kept going on and off

There is a temple in the villa compound which the family quietly and quickly pop onto for offerings

Electricity cut out several times but only on one of the 4 nights Air conditioner is a major issue. The main bedroom is absolutely beautiful but the Air conditioner is shocking. Similarly the seperate part of the villa with an upstairs and downstairs is “open” meaning the air con doesn’t work. We crammed 7 people into the 3 rooms where the air conditioner worked well which felt like a waste But of love is required at the property .. rusted cutlery, dome fans didn’t work, needs a really good clean (under beds, fans, fridge etc) Be prepared for a short walk to the main road (10 mins) Bathrooms don’t connect to all rooms, they are outside Rooms and bins in rooms weren’t cleaned whilst we stayed Cleaning needs to be taken up a few notches overall Beds are not made each day The “brother” taxi was not responsive or helpful. Do not use Very dirty under the beds

The common areas were good

There was constant disruptions to the electricity, which caused the AC and fans to randomly stop working throughout the day/night, we had to manually reset the electricity our selves. There was also no hot water until the night before we had to check out. And we did not receive fresh towels until asking on the final night. In comparison to other places we stayed the value for money and service were appealing.

To be very honest , the location was good but that’s about the only thing we liked about the property. Had no hot water for 4 days, electricity kept on tripping and rooms were extremely dusty. Not to mention one room had a broken shower and main bedroom had a terrible drain smell in bathroom

We had constant electricity issues as well as no hot water for 4 days. Bathrooms also had a drain smell, and aircon in one bedroom did not work. Rooms were extremely dirty with bugs in the bed resulting with bed bugs. All appliances and showers where also rusted. Was very uncomfortable to stay in Airbnb, place has so much potential, but would never stay in a place like that again. Really would not recommend until they upgrade it.
