Villa Ponti Bellavista

Super peaceful, beautiful views and very comfortable!

This villa could be the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. The photos don't do it justice. It's far more stunning in real life. There's a peacefulness about the place that calms you down the moment you walk in. I spent my time, when I wasn't working, listening to the birds and hanging out by the pool. I was in the area remote working while site seeing at the same time. It's far from the bustling crowds of Bellagio, which was a mad house at this time of year. You'd never know you were only 15 minutes away. The staff were incredible, the simple breakfast served with smiles and staff happy to answer any question. The rooms are expensive, especially given it isn't a hotel with services, but like everything, you get what you pay for - you're not just renting a room, you're renting use of the whole villa with other guests who are generally out all day, and since there's no restaurant, the guests there when I stayed were out for dinner every night so I had the villa to myself! When I asked about booking again, the manager told me they normally rent the whole villa and only open rooms last minute if it isn't booked, so sadly you can't book a room ahead of time. I couldn't help myself and hunted around online to see the price for the whole villa. It's not listed on booking.com but I did find it on their own website and on airbnb, where it was 28,800 for the week, or over 4000 euros/day. If you divide that by 6 bedrooms, it's almost 700/night/room, so in the end I rated it good value! If a room were ever available when I'm back in the area I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Found out too late if I'd booked direct I wouldn've got a 10% discount and paid when I got there...if I'd only known...

Stunning location in the mountain side! Amazing views! Beautiful property! 15 min drive to Bellagio.

Breakfast was below average compared to other places where we stayed. Carpet in the room. Main areas were clean but our room and bathroom were not cleaned to our expectation.

Breath taking views, attentive and accommodating host, great location and amazing amenities. Super cozy and comfortable and rooms.

The lovely budding garden. The salt water pool is splendid. I loved the solitude and the stunning outlook. Tranquility.

This place is beyond extraordinary — it had everything we needed: high-quality coffee makers, a beautiful kitchen, a cozy fireplace. Truly lovely.

There was nothing not to like — it truly felt like a fairy tale. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. I can not think of a complaint. everything went just perfect!

The accommodation was exceptionally cosy, extremely well designed with even furniture in the style of the year of build of the Villa!

Chanel is like mother telling you can’t do this can’t do that. No explain when arrived that cannot use kitchen to cook. Lots messages asking to cancel on booking.com and pay cash. Not allowed to use BBQ. The booking says kitchenette so should be able to use. Chanel did cook food when arrived which was nice other than that didn’t feel like can enjoy time there as worried in case doing anything wrong

The location and view was incredible! Also how the house is furnished is very nice and modern. The host who greeted us was super sweet!

We booked the last room on the website. The room was great and very comfortable but very small for 2 people with luggage. We had no view unfortunately. And we had to walk down with 2 heavy suitcases with many stairs to get down to our room which they gave us for the night! We noticed that they had many other rooms available that night and we would have liked to have been given the option to upgrade to a bigger room with a view. Also we wished that the breakfast could have been served earlier and not at 9am as we had to leave at 8am. There was no milk available when i wanted to make coffee so I had to opt for black coffee instead. No biggy. But its a great property non the less with amazing views!
