An authentic renovated Cretan property in a quite village. Easy access to larger towns and villages by car. Two good restaurants and a kafenion close by. Generous property with good facilities and large rooms. Two sitting rooms and big kitchen. Numerous tables to eat at. Washing machine on site. Good welcome pack. Kitchen supplies and cleaning materials supplied. Balconies upstairs and shaded area downstairs. Good sized private swimming pool at basement level. All linen and towels supplied. Private parking. Nektaria was very helpful and keen to sort out any problems.

Large number of steps both inside and out; may not suit those with severe mobility issues. Age of property does not allow dishwasher, but decent washing up facilites are available. Bathrooms are small in comparison to the size of the property, but not restricively so. Some may find the location too quiet. It is a place for rest and relaxation.

Vi har haft de mest vidunderlige 14 nætter hos Retreat Homes. Stedet er en sand oase af ro, og omgivelserne i den hyggelige by Douliana er helt magiske. Faciliteterne var i top, poolområdet var skønt, og der var rent og pænt overalt. Vores vært, Nektaria, var utrolig imødekommende og hjælpsom og gjorde en kæmpe indsats for, at vi følte os velkomne og godt tilpas under hele opholdet. Det har været den perfekte ramme for en afslappende ferie – vi kan varmt anbefale det!

One of the best places we've ever stayed in!! Beautiful location in the hills of apokoronas with plenty of lovely drives and villages nearby. Beautiful house and having the pool was an absolute dream (we felt really lucky to have it to ourselves for the whole time). We didn't get to meet Nektaria in person but she was very helpful and friendly via whatsapp. Would love to stay again!!

Schöne sehr geräumige Villa. Wir unseren Aufenthalt dort genossen. Douliana ist ein hübsches Dorf und im Oktober sehr ruhig. Man hat vom Haus aus traumhafte Aussichten auf die Berge . Nektaria hat uns mit einem schönen Dinner das Sie uns in den Ofen gestellt hat begrüßt und war immer für uns erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder wenn es mal möglich ist.

Die Ausstattung in der Küche könnte ein bisschen besser sein und eine Maschine unter der Treppe ist zu laut. Aber das hat das Positive Gesamtbild nicht verändert.

Die Außenanlage ist super gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Mit der Wegbeschreibung vorab sind wir zielsicher angekommen und konnten uns in den sehr engen und verwinkelten Gassen des Dorfes schnell zurecht finden. Wir wurden herzlichst willkommen mit jeder Menge Leckereien und haben die Zeit in Douliana wirklich sehr genossen! Die liebenswürdige und herzliche Besitzerin war immer für Fragen ansprechbar. Vielen lieben Dank! 🥰 Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Een prachtige grote villa met privé zwembad. Met voldoende uitwijkmogelijkheden voor uitjes zoals zee op 5km afstand, een zoetwatermeer 25 min rijden, kloven om te wandelen. Stad Chania dichtbij. Fantastisch!

Er was geen vaatwasser en magnetron aanwezig. Een auto huren voor de gehele vakantie periode is aan te raden, want je moet wel altijd even een stukje rijden voor tripjes.
