Villa Cavo d' Oro

We stayed in the studio room and it was a great choice. Very neat and clean, spacious for two people & it has every amenity. Another bonus for cat people are the friendly feline visitors who are also staying in the property 🐈.

We liked mostly everything. Although, specifically for us, we didn’t have a car so it was hard to move around because the property is located on a hill approx. 10-15 minutes from the port of Korrisia, so keep that in mind.

Room was clean. Katarina, the host was friendly and pleasant.

We had 3 nights booked but cancelled after a few hours after arrival.. This is on a steep hill that will challenge the advanced person's ability to walk back to the room. Driving up the steep hill is not for faint of heart. Walking it is worse. There should be better disclosure about the distance and elevation. We are in decent shape but were sweating after walking back to the room from town. The walk to town is at least 20 minutes and over 25 minutes to return. The shower water pressure was horrible. We did mention this but it was not corrected. We were charged 2 nights for a one night's stay and refunded just the one night. I don't like giving negative reviews. But better disclosure could avoid having unsatisfied customers.

The stay was great! We were there during Orthodox Easter and the owner left us 2 colored hard-boiled eggs and homemade cookies for the occasion! Moreover there were chickens and 2 little goats, which were really cute! Also the owner was really great, no one occupied the room after us, so they let us move out a little bit later to finish the work for the day (as far as I am concerned, that's only in case that no one is waiting for the room). The stay was great! :D

Awesome and helpful host, beautiful view, excellent location! We had a great experience and would stay here again in the future!
