We recently stayed at Villa Omega, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The villa was spotlessly clean and impressively spacious, offering three comfortable bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, making it ideal for a small group or family. One of the highlights of the property is its two terraces—an upper and a lower one—both offering breathtaking views of Lake Kournas. The lower terrace includes a private pool that was perfect for the two of us, though it could easily accommodate more guests. The pool isn’t too deep (around 140–150 cm), making it great for relaxed swimming and lounging while taking in the scenery. The villa is easy to find and includes private parking for one car, which was convenient. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area, with no noise pollution—perfect for a relaxing holiday. Another major perk is its proximity to Taverna Kavalos, which is just a 1-minute walk away. This is truly a gem of a place, serving fresh, delicious food at unbelievably reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the view from the taverna is just as stunning as from the villa. Additional thoughtful touches included bath and pool towels provided, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, Villa Omega was a perfect base for our holiday—tranquil, well-equipped, and with one of the most magical views we’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Highly recommended!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Omega, but the only downside for us was the lack of privacy in the outdoor areas, which we feel is important to mention for future guests and the owners. The pool is located directly beneath the road, and at times, people would stop their cars to admire the view. Unfortunately, some of them would walk right up to the edge of the property to take photos/videos of the lake, which meant they were standing right next to the pool. This made it uncomfortable to be swimming or relaxing, as we would suddenly find strangers very close by with their phones pointed toward the view — and inadvertently toward us. On the right side of the villa, there is another property with a clear line of sight to the pool area. Thankfully, the couple staying there during our visit was very respectful and valued privacy, so it didn’t become an issue. However, the setup does leave the space quite exposed, depending on who your neighbours are. On the left side, the only separation between Villa Omega and the neighbouring villa is a row of wooden panels and some plants, but there are large gaps between them. Because of this, we could clearly see the guests next door using their pool. At one point, we noticed the neighbouring couple was enjoying their pool nude, which of course is entirely their choice. Out of respect for their privacy, we chose not to use our terrace or upper balcony during that time. This wasn’t due to any judgement — simply because we didn’t want to make them feel uncomfortable or intruded upon. We believe these issues could be quite easily solved by adding some extra screening, such as bamboo fencing or a trellis with denser greenery, to create more separation between the villas. More importantly, the open access from the street to the pool area should be addressed to ensure guests feel both secure and private. That said, we still highly recommend Villa Omega.

Everything - amazing views and the extra touch left by the host with snacks was soo thoughtful!

Nothing - it was perfect for our family of 15. Only thing I would recommend is there be a blow up bed in both villas instead of just in one but apart from that phenomenal.

We didn’t have breakfast provided. Location was excellent. Loved the outdoor pool and patios and the view of Lake Kournas was incredible! Kitchen was well stocked! Maria who checked us in was lovely and helpful. Great taverna right up the street. Great parking.

We noticed the shower wasnt draining properly and backing up. We went to use the other shower and the was no shower handle and shower door was broken, which was dangerous as frame was off and glass was sitting in ground. There was a sewer smell in the downstairs bathrooms. Generally the place wasn’t very clean. My partner walked around with his bare feet and noticed his feet were very black and also couch could use a good cleaning. Otherwise Villa has a lot of charm and very authentic.

We were misleading, we thought it's one house with 6 bedrooms, big erea for everyone to be together. Ant when we arrived we found out that it's two different apartments, with small living room.

View was fabulously, breathtakingly beautiful. Location was brilliant. Kitchen/diner and double rooms fine. Maria kindly provided me special bread/milk in welcome pack.

Bathroom: smelt dank - no ventilation , shabby, awful wash basin (slab of stone), lack of hooks and places to put anything, hand shower fitting broken. Outside space shabby, plus no shade at all in afternoon so couldn'tuse it then as very hot.. 2 small umbrellas inadequate. Swimming pool more of plunge pool, not swimming. Plants not cared for, some looked in a bad way. Twin room small. Safe not available and light above front door not working - asked twice to be sorted but no response. There are stairs up to front door and a steep flight down to bedrooms, much better to take luggage round the side which is easier. Asked for more detailed directions and was told to use Google maps yet there were detailed instructions and a photo of the villa in the visitor's handbook, Why not share that beforehand? Were never told we were staying at Villa Nikos.
