Sandy & Salty Villas

The location was nice. Although off center from the big touristic locations it was not far. It had its own parking place. Perfect for family! Maroulia was a great host solving all the problems and organizing everything!

It had only one cupboard for the whole family. No hungers in the bedroom no shelves to leave your clothes . No hungers in the bathrooms. The kitchen dishes were not enough. We were two families and we had to move dishes from one villa to the other so as to have breakfast all together

Everything was 10/10. Especially the host Maroulia, she was really kind, friendly, and helpful.

The host, Maroulia, was incredible! She made everything easy - her communication was so quick and helpful! The breakfast was a 10/10. We did not want to leave!!

Great location, with great views to the north of the island and a short walk to the centre of Pyrgos. Everything worked, and the property was cleaned daily. Our host, Maroulia, coudn't do enough for us, and was available and responsive for any queries we had. She had plenty of recommendations and contacts for activities and places to eat. The breakfast was delivered fresh every day, and was plentiful and varied.

Location / host / just everything

It was beautiful and comfortable with a lovely view. But the best part was the incredible host!! Maroulia went out of her way to make sure we had a good time, recommending restaurants and excursions. When we had to cancel our reset early because of a family emergency, she was incredibly helpful and understanding.

Everything! There was simply nothing we didn’t like in fact everything exceeded our expectations.Maroulia was so helpful and a font of information which helped too! The villa was beautiful and we really enjoyed the tranquility of the location after the frenetic activity in parts of the island. Recommend this lovely place wholeheartedly.

Our host, Maroulia, was exceptionally welcoming, greeting us on the first day to hand over the keys and offering fantastic recommendations for the best restaurant on the island and catamaran tours. The villa interior looks very cozy and comfortable to live in. The breakfast was outstanding, and they were very considerate of any dietary restrictions or allergies we had. The host responded swiftly to any questions and promptly fixed our AC/heater issue. We had a 10/10 stay! This location is perfect for anyone renting a car, with easy access to Oia and Fira. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal retreat.

The breakfast portions were quite large for two people, so we often had leftovers. However, this isn't necessarily a negative, as the breakfast was delicious. The pool isn't heated, so I found the water too cold to swim in, but I did manage to take a few nice photos! The washroom has an open-concept shower stand with no bathtub, which can lead to water splashing everywhere and making the floor quite wet. Despite this, it was manageable.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was absolutely incredible! We asked for vegetarian food and woke up every morning to freshly cooked eggs and cheese, fresh bread, tomatoes with the most incredible feta, fresh squeezed orange juice, french press coffee and more! The host and housekeeper were kind enough to offer whatever we asked for our little one as well. We looked forward to breakfast every morning being served outdoors next to the private pool and that gorgeous view of Santorini!
