The Villa Salt Rock

The Villa is sat in the most amazing tropical garden setting. Ian met us with his 3 x Schnauzers on arrival and we were immediately pleased. The entrance is impressive and we walked across a small bridge over the local stream/river to an eclectic mix of Bali influenced treasures mixed with some local African icons. The Villa offered us the most wonderful rooms and areas to relax including a living room, fully fitted kitchen as well as a choice of bedrooms! The villa appears to easily cater for 4 with a large double bed main and a twin room. We spent many hours sat outside on a shaded deck next to an inviting swimming pool and simply switched off. There is a local monkey troop which we caught sight of and what must be, thousands of frogs on the property but some you would not notice until you realise the tiny spec on the floor is actually a frog. The schnauzers were a lovely ‘welcoming committee’ and so friendly. The villa is extremely close to Salt Rock beach and an easy walk to a small row of shops and Siggies German pub/restaurant. Our 2 x nights passed so quickly but we’d love to find an excuse to visit and stay again.

Location was great - close to the beach but quiet enough to avoid the bustling crowds when the beach got too busy. Pool area was really lovely and set in a heavenly garden so felt like we were on a tropical island. Host was the most attentive and responsive ever. Appreciated that despite the fact that we were on the same property, the host gave us as much privacy as possible.

Cleanliness could have been a bit better but everything else made up for it.

A really beautifull place, perfectly situated close to the beach and many other facilities like shops and restaurants. We didn't want to leave.

The attention to detail is incredible at this property. The rooms are much larger than expected. A very pleasant stay.
