Villa Renata -Pool, Large Garden & Free Parking, 2 Minutes Walk from The Beach

Position,pool,good facilities Excellent response when we had a small problem with the hot water system

Kitchen could do with children’s cutlery, Knives a bit blunt but generally well set up

I stayed 4 nights at villa renata and it was too little 😀 The villa is very beautiful, spacious and clean and the yard is extraordinary, with a beautiful view and a perfect pool. There are sun loungers, umbrellas, beach towels, everything you need. It is very close to the beach and some good restaurants. The beach is rocky though.

Location is great, close to the beach with crystal water, swimming pool is not big but very clean. If you would like to escape crowds of people and enjoy nature and silence, this place is really good

Ac ar downstairs bedroom did not work for 3 days and owner kept saying it does .once I threatened to leave he magically sent technician and fixed it . Ac at upstairs bedroom barely out out cold air even at 16 degrees setting but he never fixed . Also many items broken at the villa that he claimed ye didn't know cause others didn't tell him before. Living room door didn't lock , sun Sutter broken, towel rack at upstairs bathroom broken. Shower doors not closing completely so water spilling out during shower. Owner, assistant never came to meet us and show us around the villa. I texted him few times and he said he was working and would call me back but he never did. Bedrooms were small, beds were old and very uncomfortable. Towels were also very old and rough. This is the worse villa I ever stayed especially at the €650per night range .

Clean and tidy throughout. Decent facilities available to meet our needs. Very good communication from the owner, Nikolas, who was willing to help with anything that came up. Cleaner came to tidy up a couple of times during our stay, also the pool/garden maintenance guy came during our stay too. Size of the garden area/pool was large and good for kids/families. Close to the beach with easy access to some of the main beach bar/clubs/activities. Was around 10-15 minute walk into the main village for access to shops, restaurants, bus stop, etc. The area of Barbati is quite quiet and less touristy compared to the large Corfu resorts.

Wasn’t clear in the description/advert that there are essentially two properties that make up this villa. The main house, plus the annexe to the side of it but there was easy access between the two properties. There are two villas (adjoined) so if you have load neighbours staying in Villa 1, it can be disturbing later on at night. Some of the property is getting a little tired now - bathrooms/kitchen areas but were fine for what we needed. Washing machine door doesn’t close very well either. Location of the villa was down a poor condition dirt track and was outside of the main village so had to walk along the windy/busy main road (with no pedestrian paths) for around 10 mins to get to local restaurants/shops. Not ideal for those with small children. Alternative access was via the beach but involved a very steep hill to get up to the main road.

Really nice villa.Pool is amazing.Water in pool very clean .Very close to beach 1 min walk .Good communication with owner.Cleaning service every second day it’s amazing.
